Both Gauntlet teams will be in first place with 3-0 starts. Could the gauntlet be a buff?

No. Completely different stories. Origen was clearly the 2nd best team all summer. Only reason they had to go gauntlet was they were a challenger team in spring. So 0 points from spring.
