That's what you get when you allow such champions in the game.
All enchanters and their items need to be reworked and needs to lose the damage reduction part from his Ult and the power from it shifted elsewhere.
It was obvious the moment they showed the new Ult that it would be used to protect your holy ADC.

And sadly, the amount of damage you need to do to break that too much.
