Youtube Stream on Samsung SmartTV - Anyone else having issues?

So the first two weeks I was able to stream the LCS on my Samsung smartTV with no issues. The last two weeks when I pull it up it shows me the schedule with a 1 hour countdown that resets every time I try to reload the video. The schedule is the correct schedule for the week/day but that's all it shows.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here? I can pull it up through youtube on my computer and it works just fine. I'm at a loss for what to do. Totally screwing up my plans to cookout and have the guys over to watch the games this weekend. =[

I have had problems with set top boxes or otherwise with YouTube because the live steams use HTLM5 (adobe flash) and if ur box doesn't have it or not the updated version you can have problems. Best workaround is to connect your computer to your TV but alas that defeats the reason for the "smart TV".

BTW I never really bought into the whole smart TV concept... too little too late.

Well I don't have a box at all. The tv is just hooked up directly to the internet and I'm going through the youtube app on the tv. It just doesn't make sense that it's getting an updated schedule each day but the video stream is just set to like an hour on repeat before the games start.

I am so confused.

WEll yes I mean set-top boxes, or in your case, integrated internet with the TV.

If you have a browser you can try to go to the lolesports website directly and see if you can get that to work vs YouTube site. Without knowing the details of the Samsung browser and otherwise IDK how I can provide any more help.

Bottom LIne: Don't try to watch streams on your TV... LoLEsports isn't set up properly to handle it bug-free.

I see. I haven't tried to go through the browser and play it just through the app. I'll try it tomorrow and see if it works. I honestly don't know anything about the tv. We just bought it recently.

I'm just confused as to why it worked the first two weeks of the season then suddenly it doesn't anymore.

I suppose we'll just have to cancel our cookouts. Watching it on the computer isn't really an option lol. Too many people.

No... all you need to do is connect your computer/laptop/tablet even phones now to your TV using a cable such as HDMI or whatever both TV/device has. Like connecting your DVD (or VCR back in the day) to your TV. You control the playback using the computer but you get the big picture effect/sound on your TV.

Too far away and it's a desktop. I don't have a laptop anymore or I'd do this. =[
