What is TLs problem so far this split? Can it seriously be that they rely so heavily on a good jungler? I figured TL was going to have a rough start to this LCS without Broxah, but not like this. They are tied for the 2nd worst team in the LCS. I am so confused.

They won 4 splits already. Their destiny of 4 has been fulfilled.

In reality, players like Jensen and Impact are overhyped, Dlift is locking a champion he hates and sucks as (idk if it's coaching forcing that or his choice), CoreJJ locked disrespect pick last night, and Shernfire is getting scapegoated despite doing pretty decent, especially last night. Liquid is following in the steps of TSM being good at beating NA teams for a few splits, sucking on the world stage consistently, then flopping hard when they realize they are overhyped proceeding to scapegoat everyone they can except their "stars".

No, Impact, Jensen and DL have all had their share of lackluster games. I don't think it's that they rely on JG, but it's crucial to their game plan: They're a cerebral team that tries to emulate the Korean style of clean macro and outscaling. JG is a very cerebral role, and having a different person changes the equation completely. There's honestly a chance Broxah arrives and they still keep losing this split because they haven't found that comfort in their new identity. The thing is, once they do, their players all should rebound to being top 3 in their roles, so anything is possible. LCS Playoffs have been tight in terms of W-L the last couple of splits, easily could slide in and run the gauntlet.

The only good thing about TL as of right now is that they aren't smashing teams by the 20 min mark as they did for the past 2 years as you won't learn much from doing so. You don't pick a champion 4 times that D-Lift even stated before this split doesn't help his style of play(Lane phase) and overall a bit weak Senna to be able to do something until the 40 min mark.
Obviously TL didn't want to lose to Golden Guardians and start the season 2-4 but it's helping them in the long run and hopefully on the (International stage). They are working on what they aren't good on at the start of the split and hopefully/trying/will/might turn it on later on when it actually matters.

If TL are actually trying to improve on their weaknesses and such hey, keep on doing it cause the Spring Split legit means Nothing other than disappointing NA fans at MSI as the potential NA superteam early on in the year. No, do whatever you gotta do to actually be a true Worlds contender.

It ain't Shernfire's fault. That is all I have to say.
