Rewards for CLG?

Just wondering, because CLG won the spring playoffs, what do they get from it that TSM don't get as second place (besides 20 points)?

They gonna play at msi for world bracket

To be fair, it's a poisened gift to be first during spring because, if they screw like TSM last year, they cost NA a spot in the 1st bracket at world and will be taunt for that (same goes for all region, one bad MSI and you will be laughed at :s)

What does attending / winning MSI give, besides experience against international teams? Championship points?

They're paid pro players. They may be on salary, but they'll likely have bonuses paid for winning tournaments and for qualifying for others.

The team will win prize money (and participation money) for each tournament as well.

So while the championship points are obviously important (since most money and pride is at worlds), the money from winning, from whatever they do at MSI, and from whatever they do at Worlds (if the difference between first and second makes the difference of them getting to worlds, or even changes their placement so they can get out of groups) is definitely the reward.
