G2 vs SKT

Ok, so after some looking at their quarterfinals and group games, here are my thoughts on the matchup and how each team can win.

SKT's three most dangerous players are Clid, Faker, and Teddy. Khan can be inconsistent and their support (either Effort or Mata) can be a bit iffy but mostly solid. So their path forward? Make sure either Faker or Teddy scales into late game. If Faker, have Clid help him scale up. If Teddy, have Faker and Clid help get a lead bot. Perhaps most important, Clid and Faker need to be proactive rotating top. Khan rarely is effective when playing behind, so they can't afford to let that happen.

G2's top three players are Wunder, Jankos, and Perkz. The bot lane matchup will be very even. Mid lane could maybe be a slight edge for G2, or it will be a huge liability. Top lane could either go even or well for them. Jankos should help his mid and top lane most. Let Perkz and MickyX do their thing and scale up. Be ready to respond to dives bot, but don't attack SKT's bot lane and draw Clid and Faker down. Too risky. Help get Wunder ahead. Go after Khan a d make him irrelevant. Help Caps enough to prevent him getting rolled in a bad game.

And above all for each team, do not place too much value on Kayle. It's a trap.

Am I all wrong? Someone see another strat that will work better?

Skill wise it should be even enough, it all boils down to their gameplan&picks and execution of said plan as well as how well one team´s plan happens to stand up against the enemy plan.

You are missing some points, Perkz have usually reminders of midlander, which appears specially when they are behind and he randomly goes to split as adc

Caps goes down every time he fights against a better mid

And Jankos is not that good, just got easier to play because his team is way better than the average Lec one. So he can play karthus, afk farm and mechanically outplay them pushing R

Wunder and Mikyx are pretty good and can manage to carry. Specially Mikyx has some pretty good champions. Apart of that, Effort and specially Khan are the most weak part of SKT, so if they abuse it, they can win

TLDR: Give faker a carry and khan a tank, and try to make he as lighter as possible (Don't make the same error than Griffin please XD)

Jankos and Wunder wish they had performed like Caps in this event. What worlds are you even watching mate?

Faker hasn't been standing out at all, but I get how him being the goat means he is always potentially a huge threat on a team.

Perkz has been the best performing Bot laner this worlds. Clid has been one of the best junglers.

I think the real question is, how much can SKT go toe to toe in early game skirmishes and hectic rhythm that G2 creates in their games. If SKT make correct decisions and some outplays early by clid-faker and set perkz mikkyx behind they can stomp G2. If Caps+Jankos break the game open early and they game becomes a 1 kill per minute game, then SKT get stomped.

I think draft will be what wins this series.

I understand SKT are the favourites, but I have to say Perkz and Caps have really come to play these worlds. SKT need to be really careful about what champions they give them.

Does SKT pick red or blue side? Because... G2 haven't shown a red side draft in quarters. I would bet they have something nasty prepared.
