KT Rolster

I just wanna point this out.....KT Rolster is absolutely shitting on people this split. granted they only have 2 matches to go on this is like an absolute stomp on what people consider the lower half of teams in Korea. I would love to see a game vs SKT soon to see how they face. They stomped MVP and it looks like BBQ is gonna be another 2-0 stomp. it doesn't even look like KT is going to face a strong opponent until halfway through Feb. and even then its SSG who we have no idea how they will do this split. i feel like SKT is really the only benchmark to see how well KT will do this year. Unfortunately, the KT vs SKT matchup will not be until March. By then KT i think should have a pretty dominating record so even if they do lose to SKT it may not even matter.

Both of those teams being not just bad, but widely-considered 9th/10th place worthy in what should be a pretty stacked LCK split. To get a better assessment of KT, we have to wait until they face the freecs, as I'm sorta under the assumption that they could be pretty dominant this year (assuming they keep spirit as far away from their jg as humanly possible) and can be the "litmus test" for LCK teams. SKT is nice and all, but even if KT happened to lose that series they could still be considered the #1 seed should SKT either lose in the regular season (which is possible, especially if they decide to randomly start subbing in people or faker goes on a "cold streak" like last year) or lose in the playoffs (like last summer, where SKT lost in the semis and basically handed koo/rox the #1 seed).

I'm pretty sure you meant ROX, not MVP. And from just my own first glance, that ROX series did not look like a stomp more than it was decided by whoever made the more mechanical and objective-costly mistake. This morning's series vs BBQ however looked more like what was expected of them as the "super team" they have been considered and was indeed an absolute outclassing. Granted, as Mye stated, this was from what is considered to be a bottom table team in BBQ. So where to go from here: they are good enough to contest for 1st place by just individual talent alone. But we can't be sure of anything until those Round 1 matchups in the coming weeks.

well, it´s clearly a team that had been made to win worlds. They have definitly the best botlane in the world right know, and a mid and top that also have the potential to be #1 worldwide plus a very proficient jungler. It´s early to call, but the first games already looked promising and when the team stays together like this for the whole year right now i don´t see anyone competing with them (let´s just hope pawns back won´t give him trouble this year).

The SKT vs KT match will come when it comes. The games have schedules and we must wait.

I'm not a believer in KT's botlane I like Mata and Deft as players but Deft if beaten once in a BO3 series just looks garbage and loses the rest of the games in that series, he's just a cry baby that tilts easily, again GOOD player Deft is but mental strength it's not on the same level as Mata's and that alone could cost KT games.

It's going to be more interesting as KT will be facing Longzhu Gaming - Afreeca Freecs in their next 2 games and in my opinion two teams that are not being talked about for some reason.

I'm liking how AF is looking too. That'll be a fun match between them.

Everyone thinks that KT and SKT are the top two teams in Korea, and we will see if this is accurate. I like the fact that they are meeting in march becuase you can see that the teams are not quite used to playing as a team in pro play yet and I think they will be a lot better come then. Telecommunications wars baby!!!
