Here I was hoping for a close entertaining searies but like last year it was another stomp... I fell asleep on my chair after the end of the second game jesus. Might as well just hand the crown every year to korea and not even bother having a worlds since they are just too superior.

Maybe Riot should do Best of 7 like Major League Baseball. :^) Then they can have throws from 3-0 positions which only the Cleveland Indians seem to be able to achieve.

First off a 3-1 is not a stomp. you can claim that SSW just loves to throw game 3 but i think that is nonsense.

Second, there has only been 4 worlds which is not a large sample size to claim we should just hand them crowns every year...

third, Riot has Designed Esports so that China and Korea will always have the upper hand. They have the best internet and the best servers with dedicated teams that create personalized content just for them. They get different more advanced clients. They get better rewards etc.

Riot puts more Resources into those 2 regions than they put into all the other regions. so by default all other regions are underdogs.

First off, 3-1 is actually jsut 1 game from the max. I'd call it the normal score.

That being said, RC did at least do things in game 2 and 4. In #4, it looked like they'd get back in quite a few times even thought SSW always just barely got out (or stole dragon). If not for SSW's perfect score and we knew they'd win in the end, game 4 was tense for a while.

Even when SSW won, at least it was intertainning to watch. Those team plays were pretty impressive before they had a 15k lead and their stats could make them win every fight.

TSM was cowering in fear until game 3 and game 4 was less close than RC's game 4. Actually, by game 2 RC was at least trying to do things, compared to TSM's cowering in fear, it was a lot more fun to watch.

And for the record, S2 was won by China. It's only been 2 years since Koreans won.

I think the E-sports thing of KR>CN>everyone else, is just a matter of a cultural difference as well. From what I've seen from streams read about the E-sports communities in those countries it's just more accepted as a life style than it is say in the NA region. From what I understand and gathered when SC2 was in it's prime being a pro player for that in Korea was the equivalent of being a professional athlete in America.
