Sk Telecom has won the World Championship two times in a row. This year Sk Telecom have higher caliber players than ever before. Their roster two years ago, in 2015 was Marin, Bengi, Faker, Easyhoon, Wolf, and Bang. Marin, by no means is a carry top laner such as other top lane carries in the Korean scene such as Smeb or Sumday. Bengi as well is not an aggressive Jungler, and has trouble climbing in solo que where he hovers in diamond 2 to masters. Easyhoon is a good mid laner, but no one can compare to Faker. Wolf is a middle of the road support as well like his teammate Bengi he also hovers in diamond to low challenger in Korean Solo queue. Bang is a top AD carry in the Korean scene where SK telecom were executing protect the Bang team compositions.

The year 2016, season 6 they lost Easyhoon and Marin. SK Telecom picked up Blank a substitute Jungler and Duke a top laner. Duke was an upgrade in carry potential than Marin, but Marin was still a shot caller in the Sk Telecom team. Duke did not mesh with SK Telecom in the beginning of spring. He was off split pushing and his teleports were questionable. Blank was picked up because Bengi had difficulty with the meta at times and swaps were very frequent between Blank and Bengi in between games.

The year 2017, Sk Telecom lost Duke and Bengi. The new addition to the team are Huni in the top lane, a Korean who was a top laner from Europe and North America who has had major success. But, he has a major fault of tilting or making very risky decisions. Huni does however know how to carry. The most noticeable pick up for SK telecom this year is Peanut. Peanut is a strong Jungler that was on the Rox Tigers and undisputedly one of the best Junglers in the world. He is very aggressive appose to Bengi who was more of a “ward bot” for Faker. Sk Telecom as an organization really hasn’t had a strong Jungler since Bengi has been on the team for four years. The question on everyone’s mind is, how is SK Telecom going to do with these strong, new players? Will they be able to distribute the gold properly considering almost everyone on team are carry players in their role? Their first game is January 17 against Jin Air Green Wings. I don’t think this game will show a lot of information about SK Telecom’s new team. Their schedule also is very weak in the early spring season, they won’t have to play against the top tier team until week four through six where they will play Kt Rolster, Samsung Galaxy, Longzhu, and Afreeca Freecs.

Tell me what you like, don't like, and how you think this could be better. And of course feel free to leave your opinion on SK Telecom's new roster. Thank you

Marin sure showed how to carry on LGD with one of the best bot lanes in china of Imp and Pyl. Also Marin is now on Afreeca now that he is back in Korea instead of staying with Sk Telecom from the beginning.
