NA better than EU confirmed
TSM won IEM and SK didn't do anything while they were there.

stuartk118 votesI am from Europe, and have to say that TSM did play really well, and SK really dropped the ball. I feel that TSM would have lost to GE Tigers, and that GE really choked in that they expected that they could steam-roll over WE, and got rather frustrated when their plans didn't work out as well as they should have. Still, TSM would have beat SK if they were the 2 teams playing in the finals, so congrats to TSM for their win.

I don't really know if it is choking so much as GE meeting their foil. WE thrived on early game leads, and is really damn good at snowballing. GE tends to give up a lot of early game leads. They just faced a team that was too good at snowballing. TSM on the other hand is really good at stopping snowballing with cross map counter-play. WE is weak at playing from even since their entire team comp is focused on snowballing. Basically WE is a brawler team that walked right into a TSM counter punch. GE is an infighter that takes some hits to get that winning K.O. combo. WE just hits too damn hard and GE can't get their balance.

We might just have to find out at all-stars as it is likely not necessarily that both teams will make it their.

n810m1 votesAll-Stars got changed last year. It's just the top team and then the favorites are sent for other categories. Personally I didn't really like it but the reasoning was sound.

The All-Star Invitational Top five teams from each regional pro league. Round robin group stage, Best of One matches. Top four teams are placed into a playoff bracket. Semifinals are Best of Three; Finals are Best of Five.
The link you provided was the AllStar Challenge (exhibition matches). That consisted of Hexakill, URF, Pick 10 and the 1v1/2v2 matches.
Where players for these were popularity contests for just these show matches. Not the Actual Invitational.

Lateral2 votesYea I honestly don't see EU going anywhere this season. NA did it right, they invested like mad, into teams, into players, into coaches. While EU area still being proud of their S1 win. Let's see how many seasons it takes to realise that it won't work like that anymore. They better get their stuff together and start investing too, if they want to stay relevant in an international competition.

If you havent seen Turtle get quadra kills in a losing game back back...you really should check the vods, and saying lustboy is useless shows youre really not paying attention.

I think Santorin is really grossly underrated. He is fantastic on RekSai and had a great Nid game last weekend.
Lustboy is fantastic on Janna. I have been underwhelmed with his play on other champs though.

tyt9212 votesU guys obiously havent watched China LCS, OMG, ROYAL, and Edward Gaming are looking very strong, and TSM winning IEM was because GET fuked up. They thought they coudl steam roll WE the LAST PLACE TEAM IN CHINA. If you followed the entire world LCS not just a few, EU is the weakest right now, CHINA is top, and korean is coming second. TSM/NA is really just between the entire spectrum. They are just mediocre compare to the rest of the world. I hate to say this, i love Dyrus, but if this keeps up, they are at risk of doing poorly at worlds. Dyrus needs to do better than he is now. I am not saying hes doing bad, but he needs to step up his game and be more aggressive with his team. Hes pretty much campped every match and tower farm and ganked every other couple of mins. This will work for CLG as an easy bait and have them constantly focus dyrus, but NOT china and korean teams. They rotate so fast and smooth, theres no way to grab objectives or do something. It is so crazy right now.

I am a TSM fanboy but honestly, they played really well, but GET lost due to like the first dude stated, cockiness. They thought they could win without trying, ended up underestimating WE, tilted, and lost. That said, TSM played really well if they continue to grow and play even better just like they did this IEM and stay CONSISTENT, they will definitely make it into semi-finals. But still China teams are looking really good better than Koreans right now.

And that was with an inferior jungler, Bjergsen still getting used to shot-calling, and only having Lustboy on the roster for about a month. China may be stronger now, but so is TSM.

Just because they have "Koreans" doesn't mean the team is Korean. Anerica has people from everywhere but yet we don't start to classify them as "mixed country teams". The leadership/style of the respectful teams remain the local regions... regardless of who is playing. Same goes for TSM's Mid laner: Once EU... now NA style gameplay...

ZeroAnarchy1 votesFnatic are kind of in the same boat as SK, they can really play one style. Ban Rengar, Rumble, and Lissandra, and this limits them ALOT. Huni can't play a tank for the life of him. While Fnatic is doing very well, I don't think they would've done better than SK
