The whole "Rivals: NA vs. EU" thing they're pushing is kind of funny

The NA vs EU rivalry is a staple rivalry in League eSports, yes. It's pushed by the amount of trash talk the community develops of it. But at this point, it's like throwing the Rift in a trail of permanent poison...and there's no Singed on the map. And now it's become so toxic that even fans will go as far out to use the event as a measuring stick to another event they're not even a part of let alone the future where things can change!

If it's a "fight for 4th place" as you elude to, why do you even entertain the negativity in that? It's two regions going at it! Why does it always have to go beyond what it produces especially for NA and EU? It's funny how you make this thread to throw the same kind of shade that an amount of the community already does.

Why have competition at all in anything then? I mean, you know you are that piece of shit nobody cares about before the world's best anyway.

Or maybe you know, competition doesn't always have to do with being the world's #1?

Both the videos are fun anyway.

I mean... some of the reasons for X > Y are dated to the times where Karthus was picked mid and there was still the old SR.

Just enjoy the show/games if not don't watch that simple.
