in my opinion CLG has an outstanding chance at worlds i wanna know what you guys think?

To get out of Group A? I agree completely.
If we're talking about progressing to semifinals? That's where it gets tricky. If they come out as the #1 seed in group A, they'll probably face LGD or KT Rolster. If they come out as the second seed, they'll most likely face EDG or SKT. They're the best team in NA, and played like it at MSG but in order for me to buy into them beating KTR, LGD, EDG or SKT, they'll need to play the same way against their group as they did against TSM at NA Finals.
I think best chance by far of any NA team to get out of groups... And overall better than 50/50.
In group stages? Sure. Though I think they'll end up second (KOO first). Against other top-tier teams in their region? I believe they'll get destroyed.
I don't know guys everyone is overwhelmingly in favor of all the Chinese and Korean teams but I really think NA has a chance this year. Do I think any NA team will actually win world's? Nope. SKT and EDG and powerhouses. There's no way. But I think there's a lot of potential for advancement at least past group stages.
CLG first or second in group will get screwed over at knockout stage why? 1) CLG A1 will fight either SKT or EDG 2) CLG A2 will either face off Kt Rolster or LGD. Chances are they won't get to semi. Unless hail mary, and win QT Finals, to semi. Making preds in Group then looking at knockout stage. You'll know.
I think they'll get out of groups, but I can't see them in the semifinals.
Keep in mind Xmithie isn't going to be able to play and is being replaced by their backup midlaner Huhi.... so who knows how strong they are with a backup midlaner in the jungle.
I doubt they will do that great under the circumstances... although if they had a different substitute jungler from an na lcs team that wasn't going to worlds with his team anyway... like clg rush cough cough.... I would say they could make it to the semifinals or even win the thing if they played really well.
I have been watching some of their Korean solo q streams. The first ones were pretty ugly to be honest. However, the ones I saw today were much better. They seem to be stepping up their game.
I would love to see NA do well at Worlds, but the competition is really brutal this year. If just one NA team makes it out of groups, i'm happy.
CLG is garbage they have the easiest group and they'll still lose
