Can we finally address the hook animation bugs?

Fellow Summoners, I have been playing LoL since late season 1. Over the seasons it seems that every bug eventually gets fixed...except for this one. Imagine, for a minute, that you are playing ADC. You got your best ADC and you're excited to get the game started. Once you get to lane, the enemy Blitzcrank tosses a wild hook that is well in front or behind you. You do not feel the need to use any abilities because the hook seems so off. All of a sudden, you are dragged into the enemy bot lane and die level one due to the animation not being clear enough to tell if the hook will hit or not. This can be extremely tilting. Any summoner that watches streams on Twitch.tv can attest to these issues. Streamers are constantly asking their chat/moderators to clip hooks that seem to have a mind of their own. I think the hook either needs to appear as wide as its coded, or the hook width needs to be smaller. Thank you summoners -D3VON

It is not an issue with the animation, it is an issue with the perspective of the player in regards to the axis tilt of the map. Wolle La does a good job explaining this interaction.
