I will admit that initially, based on their performance in group stage, it felt like NA sent the wrong team. TL needed more crazy aggression earlier, and both TSM and C9 have been playing that way for a while now. But TL really surprised me (and many others); they managed to turn it around had a great series. The casters in the post series discussion had a good point, too: IG took a game and had some good plays, this was not a 3-0 IG choke, this was TL playing very well, bouncing back and adjusting their play from their rough group stage.

Careful man. Don't brag on NA in the NA boards. There are a lot of EU and Korea fans that come here just to put you down... and they often outnumber us XD
I admit, I didn't believe. I expected the loss and am THRILLED to be wrong. That said, I've also thought for years that we (as a region) suck at Bo1s and had a much better chance at Bo5s. I don't know what it is, I assume our teams don't wanna spend days researching the other teams before the tourney starts. We generally adjust well, but we come in bad so now that we can adjust to things in-game, that's working!
Bet it won't happen again. I'm actually being pessimist. but this is pretty cool.
