On the other hand, i can be proven wrong, when this guy fails. I bet he will get the perfect pick and as far as i remember, last year was also exactly one guy who had a perfect pick, but i have to admit that the tale of the drunken picker is much sweeter.

Also, someone correct me... doing everything randomly we have 4x permutations of 4 for the group stage and 2^4 for the Quarters.
That means that if we all selected our picks randomly one in 1500 people should still have the correct pick'ems. Or did I mess up my math?
That'd mean the possibility of the correct pick'ems, up to the final, is 1 in 6000, and 1 in 12000 including the final.

Draqone1 votesHow did yah arrive at that number? Seems awfully high. When I did my math I assumed, which is true, that for Pick'em we know which team is in which group and later, for knockout stages, that we know which teams advanced.
The only mistake in my above post I can find is that I should've said "up to the final", instead of including. Edited that now.
3Xtermin4ns1 votesEach group has 4x3x2x1=24 different combinations. 4 groups => 24^4=331776. KO-stage has 7 games with 2 outcomes=> 2^7=128 128x331776=42 467 328.
