Looking for competitive esports
is there any group or organization that runs lower tier competitive esports that a team or player can join?

I know CompeteLeague is a thing, but I don't know how it is being in one of their tournaments and how much time they give you for prep and such. I'm sure there are others out there, but this is the only one I've heard of.

I don't know of any at the moment, sorry, but I recommend you check these boards periodically, because people sometimes posts links for tournaments and competitions for lower elo players here. If you're looking for a team I recommend the team recruitment boards, and I've seen competitions posted there occasionally as well.
