What is the point of the lane swap that I commonly see the teams in LCS do?

I would believe it is to try to get your adc ahead in cs while trying to punish their top laner in the process

A Lane swap has a number of reasons for its application:

(1 It helps ADCs that have weak early game - or are countered heavily by the opponents. (2 Apply pressure to Top Laners that can snowball or struggle without farm. (3 Early turret Pressure and some easy gold income for the team (if you push) (4 Allows mobile supports to roam to get deep vision and possibly assist in ganks on mid. (5 (Sort of applies to #1) but the support can assist with TOP (in the bot lane) to ensure dragon is contested and your tower is safe letting the TOP farm.

Getting adc increased level and farm as well as giving support room to roam and ward the map down. On top of that, teams will commonly do the lane swap if they are counterpicked in the top lane or bottom lane.
