Why isn't Yasuo played in the LCS?

Hes easy to counter. Unlike what boards likes to say, he is pathetically easy to fight in lane. Even easier to starve in lane, and even easier to fight in teamfights. If he even so much as ults more than 1 person, he will die before he lands more than 1 auto.

People like to freak out about how OP he is, whenever I see him, if he ults he suicides. 5 man ult? Dies the very second everyone lands. Hardly seems like it was worth it if all he did was a measly 500ish damage to the team if he was the carry of the enemy team and died.

too risky for the advantages he brings. Only a team like Rox would have the skill to savly get him going, and for them it´s just not worth the time as they don´t need any cheese to win anyways.

He was last season. He's just out of the pro meta. He relies too much on big risky plays when the pro meta right now relies around minimum risk maximum reward team comps. Hence the double laneswap 3v0 lanes with people like Mid.

because of the meta and how ridiculously bad this meta is for him. he has a lot of team fight counters, lane counters, and since he is a high-risk high-reward champion in a meta where everyone just plays really safe, it's not really the most ideal thing to have a yasuo.

He's super unreliable and loses most matchups a mid. As for top, he's only good against gnar, who isn't in the meta currently. As for Yasuo in solo queue. I hate seeing this champion on my team. Even in mid gold Yasuo mains find a way to be complete idiots. Personally I've never seen a toxic riven main, but I've seen plenty of toxic Yasuo mains. This champion is straight up just bad in gameplay and in its community.

Can't win without being hyper aggressive, in coordinated play the enemy JG will shut that down. Additionally he is very weak to CC chain and nuke, something done very well at the pro level.

He's not very good right now honestly.

They play only OP champions. Yasuo is now balanced (maybe even weak) - you can pick him only with team built around him without being useless.
