World's Pick'em: Ties = Wrong Order?
My Group A order is/was:
1 KOO Tigers 2 Flash Wolves 3 Counter Logic Gaming 4 paiN Gaming
Their final scores are 4-2, 4-2, 2-4 and 2-4, respectively, making their order according to the program:
1 FW 4 - 2 2 KOO 4 - 2 3 CLG 2 - 4 3 PG 2 -4
The scoring system has CLG and PG tied for third, and yet FW and KOO are not tied for first despite a similar situation. Therefore, the scoring system says I failed to get KOO and FW correct, as KOO is technically "second" and FW is technically "first", despite their identical outcome, making my pick order not perfect. CLG and PG are "correct" in my pick-order in that they're both "third" and I have them in the right place and the right order.
This is a paradoxical means of handling them lol: in this scenario, third and fourth are not being treated the same as second and first is. Are Flash Wolves and KOO Tigers not tied for first? Would that not mean that I am technically correct, and thus get the full 16/16 points (rather than only 8/16)?
I am confused :( I do not see a similar topic asking about this, so I thought to bring attention to it myself. As, theoretically, it could make the difference between a perfect bracket or not; a poro icon at 34-points or not. I don't want to lose out based on a technicality I don't understand, you know?
