Doublelift "kicked"... curret state of CLG

Well...

When I learned about LOL eSports being a thing, I learned about a team called Counter Logic Gaming. A team that had very obvious and unchanged playstyle throughout years, but still managed to stay relevant and win LCS at MSG.

Reason I'm a big CLG fan is was their style. I am a marksman main and I liked how they always played around Doublelift. Today I learned that the "heart" of the team got kicked out right after a giant win.

I'm sad and worried about my favorite team, cause I don't know how the biggest change the team has ever had will affect it.

But I'm also happy. Not because I dislike DL, but cause HotshotGG finally did it.

YOU DID IT MAN!

You finally made a CHANGE in team and I think thats a big step forward. All the decisions of replacing junglers and top laners were pointless and we all knew that. It doesn't really matter who you sacrifice in order to get botlane ahead, whether it's Nien, Seraph, Voyboy or Yourself Hotshot. It doesn't matter whether it's Dexter, Saint or Bigfat making calls from the jungle as long as only lane the entire team cares about it bot.

Now CLG is a TEAM and not Doublelift + support getting every resource from the team. You guys tried to play on solo lanes this season and it worked out. Hotshot brought in 3 amazing sololaners (Huhi, Pobelter and Zion) and team managed to make good use of their talent, but in the end... somewhere deep inside.... CLG was still that ADC centered team. There were moments, when struggle lead to a decision of going back to the roots and playing ADC game, instead of trying to fix the curret situation.

Again... I'm not saying DL is bad or anything. I adore him, as an ADC main myself, and I believe he is the best ADC EU/NA has ever had (with all of his random flashes and weird Corki builds).

Good luck in TSM Doublelift! And good luck new CLG!

It's a shame that you think so. The whole team came together and they fought together in NA LCS. There was never once a protect the ADC comp (at least i think) if they did, it was to win the game or to outplay them. Not once this season have they ever given Doublelift more attention than he ever deserved. Doublelift was the oldest on CLG with the biggest goals. Naturally it is Doublelifts/Pobelters job to deal damage from the back. They won NA LCS with it, Doublelift has stopped the trash talk, even showing his weak side complimenting other teams this season. It's so ridiculous how you could believe that this season WASN'T different from the others. This season, they worked together and accomplished it. I'm sorry, but you need your CLG facts right bud, because the other seasons was about what you're talking about. This season, S5 was completely different. They created a winning team, and blew it like it was nothing.

I don't know what happened, like the fight itself. It had something to deal with Zion and Doublelifts negativity. Either way, just because Doublelift is a self dependant person, doesn't mean he can't be worked with, he just has a different way/ways of handling things/training etc. He always shows up to 110%. He wasn't kicked for being "The CARRY, the resource sucker..." NOR DID HE DO THE BEST, ZionSpartan got MVP of Top Lane... DoubleLift he got kicked because he wasn't good with his "people skills" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL62PvLzj1M It makes sense. He should have saw it coming, as league is a team oriented game, and you need social skills.summoner 1

Just don't say that they relied on the PROTECT the DL comp/Let DL take everything, or DL was everything. It was the whooole team this season that put it together and that's why they won and they figured that out. summoner 13

Owell, Maybe Doublelift is on a better teamsummoner 12 , the best Mid laner in NA and best ADC in NA can create a lot. Think of all the times Wildturtle has gotten caught out or just out of position. Lustboy and DL may not do as well as Aphro and DL, but it's definately better than WildT and LustB. All they need is a new fresh top laner that can live up to Dyrus's standards.

Sorry about the redundancy, i'm not going back over my garbage text. I'm just upset about the team i've been with since S2 is changing, and you don't actually see HOW or WHY he was kicked. This season (S5) the whole team came to play and they did extremely well and deserved the win. It wasn't ALL about one person, and THAT'S WHY they won the LCS. summoner 14

Except Pobelter is probably gonna leave because he's pissed that he was benched.

I'm wondering who the new ADC will be. Both RNG and CLG have searches for ADCs, so I'm wondering who they will get.

I got to say it makes a lot of sense reading you, and I do agree, I don't really care about CLG to be honest, but I believe this will help them find at least a real identity, not just LiftLift's slaves (jk).

I for one am looking forward to see how Regi works with Lift, for humor reasons really, I think TSM's issues are not their players, it's Regi himself, for a team that had been playing for so long, their synergy was non existent, like a bunch of Solo Qs just doing their stuff when they could, Dyrus could have shined on his last Worlds, but nobody seemed to care, not just for his sake, this meta was for Top laners! Just an example, I don't care for TSM much either other than humor.
