i know there are many male pro casters.... are there any females ones? just curious...its always motivating to see personally

Yes, there is Froskurinn, a caster for the Chinese Professional scene (LPL) though she is not an official Riot employee. She's a good caster with plentiful knowledge of the game.

is she pro? cause i can find anything that says shes pro... i know shes a female but theres plenty of females on the korea league btw thats why im not impressed by female casters unless they are pros personally

she´s by far the most knowledgable caster for the LPL and sort of head-analyst for the region, she has also worked as a coach before (Roar, Dignitas EU)...as far as casting goes she´s definitly pro. (and it´s really a shame Riot didn´t bring her for worlds, as they really lacked insight for the LPL).

I agree. She would've been great for Worlds... The shoutcasting for the most part with this Worlds has been really lackluster...

well itshafu is a pro player who played in the championships for league and i dont see her as a caster that is why i made this post i do not understand why no pro play girl who played in championships do not cast for starcraft/wow/league

i was asking pro play... casting is just saying whats going on not coming up with how to win the game so im sorry i do not respect that well tbh i think the reason why is because she is not a pro player since most caster are pro players who have played in championships so that was be a very sexist move on riot part to only pick a female when she is not a pro player who never played in the championships

why wouldn´t you respect that? you need a lot more knowledge about the game to be a caster/analyst than you need to play it, even on the pro level. And you don´t only need to know about the game, you also need to know about each team and each player. She´s done an incredible job for the last year as an LPL-Caster and really deserves credit for that.

uh personally i think it takes more skill as a player since you can stay home and "netflix" all the games i almost did so thats why i say its easy you cant just watch pros play and play like a pro... but you can watch all the league championships and learn who all the players and teams are just personally i feel like as a player you have to put more work in than a caster and i respect whoever puts in the most work i dont really respect "easy" jobs i respect her as a female but not as a person who plays league

no i mean like....guys pro level like girls who made it to championships...who cast becuase if you say that is pro then im pro.... and i dont think im pro haha not on this account on my ranked account i kept getting harassed so i started over

You're piling undue stress upon yourself. Male? Female? Doesn't matter to me. As long as you've got the skills, or the drive and determination to improve and not only reach, but maintain that highest level of play, what parts you were born with don't matter to me.

Just don't go making a big fanfare of announcing your gender in unranked/bots/ranked. Play based on your merit, and let your actions prove how well you do. People give you shit, ignore them. You're stressing about things or people you can't control.

Great example of women smashing barriers in sports would be for professional wrestling. Women like Chyna, Asuka, Buella McGillicuty have wrestled matches against men, and with the current World Title Series in the TNA promotion, there will be two Knockouts(women wrestlers for the promotion), who will be competing in the tournament brackets for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against men.

it matters to me because i am a female and would love to support a fellow female who made it to pro play and becomes a caster that is my only point you are bringing up irrelevant stuff i have never mentioned i personally do not respect anyone who plays league unless they are a pro player who has played in the championships male or female you can respect others all you want but you cannot tell me who to respect and who not to respect

the reason for this post was to hopefully encourage women to try and go pro play idk wh you are posting such negativity when this post was to encourage other women to go pro

please reread the first post i made and tell me it is insulting women it obviously asks why there are NO WOMEN

uh.....i mentioned korea because they are the demographic who plays the most league meaning league has the most customers from korea most of league players are from korea idk if you have seen their pro plays compared to NA plays... they have big company sponsors and their views are way past the number of views in any other country maybe other races should play more also why i am posting this and im not korean...btw sadly i feel like the koreans are paying for riot empolyees more than any other country if i were to ever work at riot i think 90% of my paycheck came from koreans btw i support females because i am a female so idk how that is sexist since i didnt bash on males unless yall prefer a sausage fest....sorry for trying to get more females to play

If females want to play then they will play, no one is telling them they can't, the problem is that instead of showing initiative they need some mayor figure who can back them because of the fear of peer pressure. Also korea had competitive gaming way before most countries, just look at Starcraft, thats why most stuff happens there.

so why would you post something so racist? well i know scarlett doesnt play league but she is a huge motivation to me i was wondering if there was one for league and why i made this post i dont think scarlett even streams i have done a lot of research so i was wondering if i missed anything i know itshafu played for fnatic but she doesnt cast i know itshafu streams and shes the first female to play in pro league like i said i find it very motivating to see other females succeed at something i enjoy and want to make my job

She is not a Professional Player, as there are no Professional Female players. However, she is a Professional Caster and Streamer.

So she is a Professional, just not a Professional Player.

She is prolly the best caster of them all. Her knowledge of the macro game is unrivaled.

oh...thats disappointing to know there are no female pro players.... that motivates me to play better but not cast because there are already female casters so i am not trying to take them out or take their job thank you for informing me i thought i was doing bad research because i couldnt find any pros but now i understand there are none... thank you again

Don't fret! the challenger team Renegades' support is female and they made it into the LCS for next season. Last I heard she was on the fence about playing in the LCS, but if she does [and she should cause she kicks ass], next season will have it's first female athlete in the LCS.

i do not mind starting over haha i can only get better not worse by starting a new account if im a real pro i can play any account and get to ranked no matter how many times i start over :3 yes and i see a lot of really good and funny streamers quit for that reason..... dunkey being one
