Worlds: Which champon you want to see in action
For me, it is Karma. I main her and I knoe how powerful she can be if mastered well. Problem is Lulu and Orianna fill her niche better than her.
I think she would go great with a Varus or Jayce.

I have reasoning past the fact that he's my main.
He is a real solid split pusher and so many of these games at worlds have seen teams with a duo split push pressure taking advantages and snowballing games. Not to mention, because he is fairly strong with just Bork, the snowball potential is fairly decent; once again taking note at how snowbally many of the games have been. I think he could be a surprise pick but, much like your suggestion, he doesn't do much that the likes of Fiora or Olaf can't do either, they just rely on different item spikes (Fiora with Ravenous Hydra and Olaf with Black Cleaver.)
Nautilus is another champion that I always like seeing in play that I am surprised hasn't been picked up yet.
I always felt Aa was too squishy for top lane. The many times I tried him, I had to rely on his E to farm.

While being a little bit squishy to burst damage, he is phenomenal (imo) against sustained damage. Considering the laning phase, it obviously depends on who he is laning against but Aatrox with Bork will out-trade a large amount of top laners. The trick is using trades to put on some damage, maybe Q'ing onto your opponent, throwing an auto or two and then hitting an E in retreat. Then, do not trade, just use Blood Thirst to heal up on creeps. With Bork, this life steal is real and you very quickly heal up any damage taken.
Aatrox, the way I see is a lane bully of sorts. He should be trying to zone the opponent and relying on the fact that the opponent will quickly realize that he will lose any trade he attempts because of the life steal. There is really only one opponent that this tactic is not perfect against and that is Vladimir but only because that is pretty much Vladimir's exact strategy as well.
Is Aatrox squishy...yes. I would not pick him into an assassin, the burst damage is too real. I do think, however, looking at the Meta picks of Worlds, top lane is pretty much Darius, Maokai/Malphite (filling very similar roles), Gnar and Fiora. (GP kind of but he's been do heavily banned it almost doesn't matter. I would say that Aatrox is decent into Darius, not as good as Gnar, but decent. Because Darius is also melee, Aatrox doesn't need to Q into him, just wait for Darius to engage, then execute the same couple autos before using E in retreat and then life stealing on creeps to win the trade. Aatrox will usually dump on tanks, especially early game. Malphite is tougher because of Armor stacking but if Malphite gets a whole bunch of armor early, that's when you just use your E as poke and whittle him down with magic damage. Gnar/Aatrox is an interesting matchup but it is winnable. Aatrox's E has enough range to poke Gnar when he is auto attacking. Granted, Gnar's bommerang has a longer range than that but, if you hide behind the creep wave, Gnar's bommerang will usually be slowed down enough by the wave to miss you; whereas the Aatrox E just goes through all targets in it's path. I think Aatrox is actually quite strong into Gnar when played as a split push threat. Aatrox into Fiora is probably just a bad idea. The burst from Fiora is too real and would require Aatrox to build to defensively to really do any damage.
That is how I usually play him as well. But I had to rush tabis so many times that my Botrk is completed later. Butnif you want a team oriented Aa, try Hydra. Q + red W third strike (hydra aoe) + E + R + Hydra on use is such a bursty aoe d.g in like 1-2 secs.

Truthfully, I rarely rush tabis. I always rush my gold into Bork, even if it means getting Tier 1 boots later. I feel like once you get that item, you can out trade in lane, you can last hit easier, heck you might even get some kills out of it. If I want a team fight top laner, I don't pick Aatrox. I disagree with what a lot of this community says about Aatrox, I think he's a great split pusher and a very strong duelist. I totally agree that his team fights are kinda atrocious. My best plays on Aatrox have come when I staying in a lane to split push while my team to a 4v4 fight after a pick, they won the fight, I took two turrets. That's where Aatrox is strong, objective control and split pushing (especially considering he is one of the rare breed than can solo baron.)

It would be great to see Rammus in theee heavy AD focused picks although his ganks can ewsily be telegraphed.

While I like Lulu support, I totally see why the pros play her elsewhere. Lulu is all them shields. Her shields get stronger as she builds AP and her ult at full build level 18 can usually shield for over 1000 damage. You will never see a support Lulu making that type impact from one ability. Also, the more AP, the faster the movespeed buff from her W, which makes a strong case for mid lane Lulu (or even split push Lulu as we kind saw Pobelter do) because the roaming is real and she can cover more ground quickly than most other champs.
Looking at who the prevalent supports are in Worlds so far, its pretty much Braum, Annie, Morgana and Alistar. Those are all fairly strong hard engage supports. Lulu doesn't really have any hard engage. Sure she can polymorph someone but that doesn't last real long at all and late game, you don't really want to use W for that but instead for the movespeed buff. In this meta, where hard engage supports are fought over, I don't see Lulu being played support. The only way would be if its first picked and the other team locks in hard counters to Lulu for both top and mid lane, relegating Lulu to support, but to my knowledge, Lulu doesn't have too many counters in either lane. She is just such a safe laner that its hard to counter her for the laning phase.
Could be fun to see a Leona. But I hardly think it is going to happen.

Well with the hard engage, Leona is a pretty solid hard engage support and a great support to go with Ashe...who may be the best hard engage ADC. It could happen. Probably wouldn't happen until knockout rounds though
Fair point.

I feel like Bard could add something we haven't seen yet at worlds. Ult to control objectives.
Thats the reason why I want him there. Plus players could get some education on how to Bard like a pro.
At least be seen once.
At least be played once T.T
Mordek.... if he by accident gets pass ban phase, I hope to see some high mechanic plays from the team who picks him.

I feel like we will see Garen soon...it may a team who is 0-4, 0-5 in groups, wanting to just try and get one win, maybe play spoiler, and pull it out.
I'm sure Morde will eventually be played, I think its a matter of time. No champs ever keep a full 100% ban rate throughout an entire tournament.

not gonna happen tho
