The Dade Award: Who earns it?

For those that don't know, the "Dade Award" is basically given to the player who is hyped coming into Worlds only to not live up to it or just outright crash and burn.

As the title says, that's just something that I've personally wondered. I mean realistically I didn't see much overhype compared to other years. Even the favorites had a wavering factor about them. And so I'm mostly tied up between the following:

LZ Khan - Hyped from a carry meta style but didn't necessarily get that out from a somewhat overshadowing sentiment by his allies TSM Doublelift - Self-explanatory: Hyped to be back and forgot his keybindings or something in a game I think IMT Xmithie - A heartbeat that brought Immortals to Worlds but really needed a better map.

Of course there's more to this. I just pick at the simple things

What are your opinions?

While many people will talk of Khan being overhyped and not doing well, in groups he did quite well and was without question LZ's best player and the best toplaner overall in the entire tournament.

I'm gonna go in an entirely different direction and say that this "Dade award" should go to Bjerg (since I can't nominate the entirety of TSM). He came in hyped up as the best NA mid, and someone who could stand toe to toe with the likes of Faker/Crown (with many saying that because of how this iteration of SKT functioned he would do better), yet when push came to shove he looked decidingly average in a group that featured little in the way of competition for him. What happened at worlds has arguably shifted the general opinion of Bjerg, as he's gone from someone who TSM can rely on to carry games if needed to what looks to be a second iteration of Froggen (in which he needs exact scenarios to carry as opposed to just doing it naturally).

It's pretty much always going to be whoever I hype the most: GodV two years ago, Doublelift last year, Khan this year.

Anybody making worlds predictions next year: take note of who I hype, because they will fall early

Khan takes it hands down. As disappointing as Bang's performance was, particularly in the finals, he wasn't hyped up to be a top ADC this year so... Khan by a landslide IMO.
