MSI 2016
MSI has been a great tournament so far. The biggest moment was definitely when RNG took down SKT in an hour long first game on the second day. RNG lead all the way as SKT held on and could have nearly turned it around, however RNG finally took down the Nexus and the pre-tournament favorites who felt dominant were now being shown the world competition are no longer afraid.
The effect on SKT was evident as the tillted losing 4 matches in a row, meanwhile, CLG showed that they can match it with the best teams in the world taking down both STK (on tilt) and RNG in the group stages. THe CLG vs RNG match was the second biggest highlight of the group stage as this is where CLG really stood up and showed themselves as a force in this tournament as they stopped the undefeated run of RNG who have looked unbeatable up until this stage which makes the win even more impressive.
SKT bounces back on Fakers birthday finally starting to hit there stride again. SKT are still my favorites to win the tournament as day 4 was moving day and SKT were starting to make there move. Day 5 there was another key moment where SKT and RNG went head to head in the last game of the group stage. SKT got behind again but this time held on sent a message to there semi-final match-up. You can throw everything at us and we can still take you down.
