KeSPA Cup Update

So this was an upset or a surprise? Ever beating Samsung AND Kongdoo beating KT? I'm not sure if this is considered burnout, not trying from top teams, or lower teams taking this as serious as an LCK split. Probably all three and the first one is a loosely valid excuse.

So guess what this means now. The other two quarterfinal matches are Jin Air vs ROX and MVP vs SKT. IF the semifinal matchup winds up being a ROX vs SKT runback, then Ever vs Kongdoo in the other semifinal will be for the spot at IEM Gyeonggi as ROX already holds one of the two Korean spots in Gyeonggi and SKT holds a spot in IEM Katowice.

Elsewhere in the world EDG beat IMAY decisively and are the Demacia Cup champions. Clearly the better sister team in the end.
