Koma

Most times in the past when SKT loses, you can chalk it up to player failure in that specific game. Looking at this series vs LZ, what reason would you ever have to not throw Huni at the rookie top lane carry from the beginning? Is Koma losing his edge?

A better question is why would kkoma allow jayce through ban phase? Absolutely no reason to ban lucian.

Yea but this series was more about top side than mid...Faker didn't have much influence other than some situations so honestly no reason to not focus on keeping khan down. Especially when you see how good he's been doing. And yea, SKT was definitely not up to par to how they can usually be. Very disappointing, but wonderful for Longzhu, they needed the recognition they deserved.

Huni is a worse player than Khan. They probably just would have lost even more badly with Huni on shen.

IDK, but man Kkoma needs some rest or something cause for the past season he has looked rough as hell, gained weight by the looks of it but not that healthy weight, his eyes/eye lids/below his eyes has those crows feet. He could just be tired honestly, heard he got married, so he has a wife now on top of running the most dominate team in the world with their 24/7 grinding games constantly. Fatigue, fatigue is my answer on his drafts and such.

Everyone from SKT just seems to lost their edge, and while Koma cannot be blamed for everything, his coaching isn't helping, with his questionable team compositions, and late subbing.

Like game 4 clearly showed how SKT plays the best; Aggressive, with strong lanes. They completely shutted down LZ jungler, because Faker and Huni weren't pushed to their turret 24/7. They could invade with Blank without an issue, and fight 2v2. The result was a large lead in the early game, and a game that highlighted the strength and pure skill of each player.

Then the other 3 games; 3 extremely losing top lanes, 3 slightly disfavored bot lanes, and only Faker on 2 occasions a favored match-up, but with a non carry potential champion. They felt behind, without really a way to come back in the game, as they had limited damage potentional on most of their roles.

And as the game was mainly decided by the Top lane, the top lane picks where just questionable, especially the Cho one. 3 Times a losing lane, and 3 times the Top laner had no impact on the game at all. Even if Untura didn't die that often, he felt 40/50 minions behind, and wasn't providing any pressure at all. His ults didn't saved anything.

But like i said at the start Koma cannot be blamed for everything. Bang and Wolf are playing terrible. Yes they get slightly disfavored match-up, but Blank was facetanking Tresh hooks left and right, and Wolf was more suiciding himself then supporting the team. Blank and Peanut both play way to passively as well. It's off course harder to gank losing lanes, but especially in the last game where Huni was getting camped, Blank just didn't do anything to get a lead in a different lane.

For worlds I really hope they drop these wierd 1 damage threat compositions, and go back to what worked for them, even if it's against the Meta. Go double or triple high damage threats, Faker on a strong mage midlaner, Winning lanes and a strong jungler. Put both Huni and Peanut back in the main squad, and play a very agressive style.
