Hai said in a interview in game 5 that the team will have to be sold off for its spot.

He indicated that lemon, balls and altec are still wanting to play in the LCS so it could be a mostly c9 team under a new name. Unfortunately, Hai said he still has problems with his wrist so him returning to the lcs isn't going to happen.

Don't they still have to play in the promotion tournament by the S6 rules?

Basically if they qualify for the LCS through the promotion tournament then they have to be bought for the spot. They could always sell the current LCS spot and keep the new spot, too. Much less likely result, but you never know! lol

The thing that I don't understand is why does the Challenger Finals matter? Ok who ever wins gets a bye in the first round for the LCS spots but what makes more SENSE would be the

The Challenger scene does their week by week schedules similar to the LCS and they have their playoffs and who ever WINS THE FINALS gets the #10 LCS standings Team spot for next year, as that team will be regulated anyways. Then the 2nd runner up to the Challenger series as the First round bye for the #9-8 and other LCS teams.

It just makes the NACS look like a waste of time and no real meaning for the Finals.
