Why does NA get blown out of the water every year? It's not like koreans have something extra special that we don't. They don't have gaming super powers. They have access to all of the same champions and runes and masteries that we do. So, then, why can't one of our teams make it further than QFs? Had lots of faith in CLG when they beat ROX, but then they still lost...

Yea, I'm a bit mad. Just seems like koreans do their homework and NA doesn't, or something. There is something they're doing that we aren't. And it shows pretty clearly.

Koreans build teams with the intention to have good teamfights with an actual combo to follow during those (more than one usually) while NA and EU are more focused on the individual skill of their players and if such player isn't enough to shut down 2 of them it's game over.

Also yes, they got gaming superpowers.

NA are egotistical maniacs who think they're the best in their little bubble. Trash some solo Q as practice and they shit talk like no tomorrow. Asian teams always look to see where they can improve and will more often than not make plays for the greater good towards the greater goal. Just even look at their attitude and mentality when they talk in interviews. C9 especially toxic if you've ever seen them stream, they screw around and shit talk the entire time. TSM are much better composed and respectful, but don't have the quality practice partners and solo Q doesn't cut it. Even still, their ego is too high and inflated

NA/EU already think theyre the best Asians want to be the best, and even when theyre on top keep looking to improve

NA/EU be like: I fucking raped his ass and kill him all day so we're unstoppable Asia be like: I could have done this better and missed this shot in teamfight 3 so even though we won I'm still a little disappointed in my mistakes

The difference is in culture. Here in the States, we worship athletes in the Big Three (baseball, football, basketball) and consider those sports. E-Sports is still trying to find recognition because the fans of the Big Three are fervent in their belief that a "real" sport involves a lot of physical activity (e.g. a lot of running, sprinting, jumping, etc.) so they won't ever see the same entertainment value in e-Sports (and yet chess and contract bridge are considered sports by the IOC).

By contrast, pro players of StarCraft are treated with more reverence than the players on their own national soccer team, despite soccer being the much bigger sport. There's even a TV channel dedicated to airing club and tournament SC games.
