For how bad spring split was this year MSI is everything we could ask for plus some

  • Low rate of lane swaps/turret trades
  • Plenty of teamfights
  • Plenty of comebacks
  • Very unpredictable
  • CLG did NA proud

Aside from a lack of champion diversity this is the best International tournament I have seen in years and we still have the Bo5's to go

on the other hand, you see very limited amounts of champion diversity. yea, i know it's pro play and they have their strategists and what not, but i'm honestly starting to feel bored watching them.

CLG take my energy! つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

After G2 crapped out big time I'm putting all my support into CLG to take down the Eastern teams! For when it comes to the international tournaments it's no longer EU vs NA, it's EU + NA vs all the Eastern/Asian teams. But as I said G2 crapped out, so go CLG!

Meh, the literally pick the same exact champions every single game.

I agree, it's been good so far. I expect there will be more champ diversity in the B05 matches where everyone is trying to outsmart each other. You don't pull out your pocket picks in the opening rounds.

It was nice to see NA and Turkey looking much better than at Worlds. Shame about G2 though, they really fell apart.

I'd just like to point out "viable" doesn't mean "best" and vice versa. There are dozens of "viable" champions. The pros just need the safest- surest- least counter-able champions because that's the game they have to play to win.

Don't forget the AurelionSol

The caster desk had a collective aneurysm when Huhi picked it the first game against RNG. And a smaller aneurysm when he picked it again.

Ok but standard lanes are also quite boring aside from the extremely rare solo kill

The Deckowner5/8/2016, 6:14:01 PM2 votes

the fact that faler's champion pool in this tournament is bigger than the total pool of mid lane(azir lb azir ryze azir zed azir azir) is just a shame

Your two last points are redundant

(I'm joking, please don't hit me)

Haven't watched MSI how bad is the champion diversity?

YCitizenSnipsY5/9/2016, 1:18:51 AM1 votes

Its been ok. Could have gone with out another joke like TSM last year(G2). And for how much everyone says the IWC teams have improved they still only got one game out of ten and had the fastest average defeats. I wouldn't say this one was just greatest ever but its been entertaining thanks mostly to RNG showing out for the home crowd. I still think the past two worlds were both better than this, and that an MSI tournament just can't out do Riots biggest tournament of the year.

MSI is awesome and ITS NOT OVER XD group stage is over but PLAYOFFS are next. I can't wait for WORLDS this year and MSI is just a small taste of WORLDS this year just imagine how good Worlds will be this year with not just 6 teams but 16 teams. Just a Example of the teams and just how Great it will be. 1 SK TELECOM T1 2. ROX TIGERS 3. JIN AIR GREEN WINGS 4. ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP 5. EDWARD GAMING 6. TEAM WORLD ELITE 7. COUNTER LOGIC GAMING 8. IMMORTALS 9. TEAM SOLOMID 10. G2 ESPORTS 11. FNATIC 12. ORIGEN 13. FLASH WOLVES 14. AHQ ESPORTS and 2 WILDCARDS. CAN'T WAIT. The only thing that concerns me is that MSI is played on patch 6.8 but will Worlds be played on like patch 7.2 or something so it won't be 100% similar to MSI so will the games be shorter, less great, or just one sided ? Just my thoughts on the matter and subject.

MSI did a great job showing off all 12 champions in the game
