TSM is dead to me.

Warning Shot··1 votes·1,439 views

I'm officially not a TSM fan anymore.

You start watching a team generally because either close proximity to yourself ( predominant in physicals ports ) or because you generally like one of the players. This is no longer the case with TSM.

After the word that they're having adc try outs the only player left is Bjergsen. Ever since TSM legends started every episode i hated bjerg more and more. His attitude and personality both suck. By him being the remaining member TSM is officially dead to me.

What are your opinions?

I'm withholding judgment until I see their new roster.

I hope that they remain our home town screeching eagles from NA.

I'm at the point where all the guys i liked are gone, so there's no point in rooting for them anymore.

Things like this are why eSports will never be as popular as physical sports. No one gets mad at the Yankees when they trade away their players to get better (or newer ones). This is part of sports. Losing players and getting new ones. Once fans accept this, eSports might actually be popular.

That's not true at all. You used the yankees and theyre really a diamond in the rough for the last 50 years. Now, lets look at something different.

Basketball, lets look at OKC, I like them, because I like kevin durant, if he ever leaves, i will watch the thunder for westbrook, but thats it, and i will follow durant to wherever he goes. Players make me like teams, not the other way around.

As far as the yankess go they had so much success for SO long that people rooted for them as "bandwaggoners" but, because they were bandwaggoners for 10 years it goes unnoticed. As well, like i mentioned earlier, proximity. New york is huge, like, HUGE. ALOT of the new york fans are fans because for the past 4 generations their families have LIVED in and around new york. That's being raised on a team, and that cant be compared to being raised on an esports team, atleats not 5 years into it being a thing.

Out of personal experience, i liked the yankees for a while, why, because of A-Rod? that's it, simple. I don't have any reason to care for the team at all besides liking a-rod as a player. Same as i like sneaky/ incarnation on c9, same as i like pobelter on clg.

As far as comparing that to tsm, I think reginald is a joke, I actually liked locodoco, liked dyrus as a person, but he wasn't the best top laner for the team. I liked lust boy, i was indifferent about wild turtle, indifferent about santorin. I liked theoddones personality. As far as the team goes, noone i liked is part of the team anymore. Sure loco is "with" the team at this point and we dont know in what context but thats it.

Now, actually read my reply and think about it, then try to respond. Rather than compare a fledgling 5-6 year old organization to one that's been around for decades and is the staple of the largest metropolitan area int he country.

EDIT: will i ever like tsm again? fair possibility, really depends on very unforeseen circumstances. But at the moment, they're basically invisible.

To be fair, both the Yankees and the Mets are in New York, and the Mets have a much, much smaller fanbase.

Those bastards.

They beat the Cubs.

I'm still salty about that.

To be fair, yankees were established 60 some odd years before the mets, and in those 60 years compiled 20ish world series wins. They were the pride of new york long before the mets ever showe dup. Which goes back to my " born into a team" point. 60 years is a very long time, lets say i was 10 when yankees were established and i lived in new york, they became my favorite team, back then people had kids around the age of 20 give or take, so, 10 years, i have a son, 20 years later he has a son, 20 years later, he has a son. thats 4 generations of my family bred into being yankees fans. Sure, it doesn't have to go this way, of course not. But more often than not it does. Now, these are the type of people who GENERALLY dont care who plays for their team, because its their dads team, their grandpas team, they just root for the team no matter what. esports has another 30 years give or take before anything like this could ever happen. So I cant understand why you would stay a fan of an organization when LITERALLY the only surviving member is reginald. One of the biggest dbags in esports. Sure bjerg been around a while, but hes kinda like therainman, to them everything they have an opinion on their opinion is right, period. Spoiled brats they are. Kinda wish dyrus woulda punched him in the mouth before retiring, but i guess that wouldn't work out since he stayed on as a streamer D:

Esports are popular with people that care about video games, it has nothing to do with rosters.

If you don't care about a particular video game (League of Legends) you probably don't care about Esports.

My point is (coming from a sports fan) that if you're a fan of a team, you're a fan of the team...not the players. I'm a Cincinnati Reds fan. I loved Ken Griffey Jr and company. It's a completely different team now, but they are still my favorite team. That's the difference between being a fan of a team and players.

I already addressed this and gave reason to why people feel that way, you just completely ignored my reply lol. When you go point by point and want to have an actual discussion im here, til then, have a nice day :D

I didn't have time to respond to yours. This was a response to Krigjer, not you.

I think this is the right why to go. but will they fix the coaching issue.

They have opened up a coaching position as well.

Turtle isn't completely out. He basically just has to prove that he's still the best fit as ADC for the new team. It's a smart move for the team, really. Best to make sure you have a team that works well together.

Has TSM ever been alive ?

Jokes apart, every years almost every teams have seen their roster changing. It's time to adapt.

I never thought bjerg was a bad guy watching tsm legends To be honest dyrus was the toxic one when it came to the game itself...

bjerg is always passive agressively blaming everyone for any mistakes. for example, in the last tsm legends episode, he keeps saying something like" we lost that fight because we teleported in to the wrong ward. We didnt teleport behind them we teleported in front of them" and this is right after they get back into the room fromt he games. every recent episode loco/regi have said " lets wait itl later to talk about it talking right after a game solves nothing" and yet bjerg is passive agressively blaming dyrus for the loss in my eyes. That's nopt how you act as a team member imo.

Maybe its getting better now that bjerg might not be in elo hell anymore, must have been horrible for him to have such bad teammembers that didnt learn how to play the entire time and do the same mistakes over and over again.... i have great respect that he didnt commit suicide by now, he must have huge depressions from all the frustrating games in elo hell.

I dont know that TSM dead but I would be surprised if the spring split were anything but "trying"... I think Bjerg is fine, but I wouldn't expect bringing in 3 or 4 new team members is going to go smoothly.

I will be very interested to see what Regi does. There have been some interesting and amusing speculations on here but I pretty much discount those. And if it's Bjerg, Turtle and 3 guys from YoloQ... have fun with that.

As for Turtle specifically... He did NOT have a great summer split... and early in the split was terribad. TSM brought in Keith for a tryout and that went nowhere. So Turtle isn't out the door.
