Two franchises Riot deemed unworthy have upped their capital and are coming back. Immortals bought out Optic, and Dignitas has bought out Clutch gaming.
The downside of this is they're both inheriting subpar rosters compared to what they had when they were left out by Riot.

Reading that article... yeesh. All that money the Immortals organization is hemorrhaging on bad business decisions and they still find a way to backdoor their way into an organization that didn't want them because said organization saw the writing on the wall.
Pity about Clutch too, as they managed to make a name for themselves off the back of one big upset and just had this plucky feel in general that I wish more teams had.
