If SKT wins S5 Championship, give Easyhoon his own skin!

I know i'm getting ahead of myself on this one, but i think it is pretty clear that if SKT wins the finals, all 6 players should be rewarded with a team skin. Unlike previous years, where all the teams were compose it primarily by 5 members, it is clear that SKT is playing with a 6 man unit through all this months, and even on World Championship Easyhoon has been a key member of the team. So, if their victory is achieve, i hope Riot will give this man the opportunity of picking up a champion to have his own celebratory skin on LoL.

Since this skins are on most of the cases 750 RP range, having an additional one won't give Riot staff that much work. And it would be a great message about the importance of each member of a competitive team.

Easyhoon deserves it as much as any other member of SKT, and i hope you do the right thing about it! Thanks for reading this.

I agree with this. Easyhoon is a very skilled player, and unlike other subs for other teams isn't just there to fill in when Faker is out. He takes the role depending on the situation.

Especially this if Easyhoon starts worlds and wins 2 games before Faker comes to clean up the 3rd round.

I have nothing against Faker, but Easyhoon is a great player and key member of the team too ^_^

Both Faker and Easyhoon are great players, and even if Faker ends up getting all the attention, i think Easyhoon deserves to be recognize as well (i'm pretty sure even Faker knows this).

SKT team can play with both as mid laners as part of their strategy, so they are equally important on their role. So yeah, Hoon is not a simple "Faker' sub", and he should be reward for his contributions, which includes a possible commemorative skin if SKT ends up winning Worlds :D

I totally agree as well. Not only is he a vital part of the unique team style SKT is using(which in my opinion more western teams should look into) He is also STILL one of the more consistent mid-laners in the world. I mean hell if he was on any team in the world other than SKT with Faker he would start every game. At times this season he has even been more reliable than Faker(which is mainly just a stylistic difference between what the team asks each of them to do) This guy is up there with Faker, Rookie, Febiven, xPeke, and Bjergsen imo

That wasn't really his fault tho imo

He's consistently good in lane, and only rarely falls behind, and even then it's usually because of the intervention of the enemy jungler (let's be honest, Santorin is not the best example of a proactive jungler). He's by far the best player on TSM, and is honestly kind of held back by his team - the only ones that could really support him were Lustboy and WildTurtle - and that's only when they play well (we all know how inconsistent Turtle is especially).

i mean. idk i see berger getting tons of CS always. but the past few TSM games I watched he didn't seem to really influence the rest of the map. i guess it's a bit different in competitive, but idk just felt like he was not extending his lead elsewhere

But he also makes some pretty big blunders in teamfights. I agree, in lane his stats are on par with faker, but outside of lane ehhhh not so much

I suppose that's because he's not a great shotcaller.

Let's face it - TSM is not a team known for their amazing strategies. Not only do they rely on Bjergsen to carry, they rely on him to make the decisions as well. On a team that's mechanically gifted, that's not a problem (Faker and Marin are both shotcallers for SKT), but when the team built around you isn't up to par, that's just a recipe for disaster.

Bjerg is commonly touted as the best player in NA by both NA and EU players. We'll see in Season 6 if that'll continue to be true following TSM's restructuring.

I agree he has the best mechanics of any NA mid, and is the best NA mid imo, but you can not write off some of his teamfighting failures as bad shotcallling. blowing his entire leblanc combo on an ulted alistar is not shotcalling. Shitty cage placement on veigar is not bad shotcalling. Dyrus dying to tower dives every three seconds is bad shotcalling

Maybe TSM just needs a new leader, someone that'll help push them to play their best, including decision making. Someone like Hai, I guess, except without the tilting, and besides that, he's probably gonna stay faithful to C9.

however, im still of the opinion that Bjerg is the only TSM member who actually deserved to be at worlds. He is really good, and i really hate it when people overhype because i don't like trashing him. He earned his spot in worlds, almost singlehandedly. But doing so in NA is less impressive than some would have you believe. And apparently TSM believes the same thing; everyone on TSM is off the roster except bjerg right now

Indeed, and that's saying a lot for the NA teams. Apart from Bjerg, who really deserved their spots at Worlds? Hai and Incarnation, and maybe Sneaky, along with - arguably - Aphromoo and Doublelift. That's really it, honestly. The entire TSM squad apart from Bjerg really showed their weaknesses, Zion/Pobelter/xmithie showed that, while good, they weren't world-class material, and Balls only got that one Pentakill before becoming largely useless again in the second week. I mean, Zion didn't even do that bad, but he evidently couldn't tango with Smeb, and only did well against FW and PaiN, who aren't exactly the best teams - and even faltering somewhat against Steak (though Steak did really well overall, considering the rest of his team's performances).

Anyway, that's besides the point, really, since Lustboy and Dyrus retired, and Santorin went back to school. So the onus wasn't really on TSM as much as it was their individual decisions. However, their decision to remove Turtle from the main roster? That was a good sign. Showed that the organization knows they have to rebuild TSM from the ground up around Bjergsen.

I'd say Westdoor deserves a mention too; his laning may not be the greatest consistently, but he did give Faker a good beating and his teamfighting is fantastic.

I say Bjersen mainly for the influence he has in NA, I wouldnt but him up in the "one of the best in world" category and but he does have success internationally (TSM won IM i belive this year). IMO the most successful worldwide are Febiven, xPeke and Faker, but they all have the advantage of amazing teams...specifically each has another amazing carry to rely on. Febiven has Huni(who underperformed at worlds imo) xPeke has an outstanding bot lane and and Faker is on the best team in the world

Azir will most likely be the case anyways, both him and Faker play it. If Faker gets the skin it would probably be Ryze. But since last season the rules changed so he could get a skin for any champ he wants. Faker wanted Ahri during Season 3 but instead got Zed for Faker's memorizing plays. I have no idea what champ Easyhoon would want over the norm meta that he hasn't played or played that often.

He was a Syndra main for Season 3 and 4. I really hope if he is the one who gets the skin, he chooses her. Mainly because it ships Zed and Syndra more for being on the same team. SKT Syndra Zed OTP.

xD Maybe Mao had a chance before 5.18, where he was pretty good. But since Worlds Patch, i think Darius, GP or Fiora are more protagonists in the top lane. Even so, Marin can pick the champ, so maybe we get to see a SKT Mao if he wants to ;D

Well Azir is long over due for a skin and a 750 one for him wouldn't be too hard for them to make. Because lets be real if Easyhoon gets a skin Azir is the only option.

In all honesty if faker gets a skin at this rate its going to go to Ryze. But if it doesn't in all honesty I fell like they should give it Le Blanc, he has 12-1 record on that champion professionally and its the only other champion hes known for, the other being zed because of the Ryu play. However Ahir is my favorite so if it should go to her I wont complain.

Who knows, they didn't give him Ahri in season 3 supposedly because of her porpstar skin being in the works. But I'm still under the impression they just made it zed because of the Zed play hes known for. IDK what they are going to do this year, maybe he will get the champion he wants this time since they have double up on skins for champions a few times this year.

There supposed to, but supposedly Faker wanted Ahri for his skin in season 3 and couldn't get it which is how it ended up being Zed. From what I heard the Ahri skin couldn't be made because work was being done for her popstar skin and I guess they didn't want to release two skins for the same champ that close together. Its the only time I've heard of a player not getting the champion skin they wanted.

I agree with you. I feel like Faker is getting all the attention and we are leaving out Easyhoon. It is not that I dislike Faker, but I believe Easyhoon should get a skin as well for participating in a lot of games in this years Worlds. If Easyhoon gets a skin, it should be Azir . Faker might get Ahri or Ryze and MaRin getting Fiora or Renekton . I'm not sure about the rest. GO SKT!! :)

I know they are the favorites, and the strongest team of Worlds by far. Even so, i didn't want to start the discussion with a "when" xD But yeah, they have everything to take the championship without oposition (unless Koo Tigers really have some secret strategy on their sleeves, and even so, SKT has the potential to simply have one on their own!)

if you want to balance it out between Faker and Easyhoon, both of them deserve the respect and dignity of their rights and appreciation of that they have given out this years championship, they made it to the finals to reclaim their world cup so its a big step for them to come this far so no hate for SKT T1.

I don't hate SKT, but it often feels like Easyhoon is placed in Faker's shadow when he's as competent as, if not more competent than, Faker himself.

IMO, Easyhoon and Faker are two sides of the same coin. However, they both are known for unique gameplay styles, and what they bring to their teams in different scenarios. Both have different champion pools, and it makes sense that each gets their own unique skin. From the players' perspectives, we get one more skin to choose from, and I'd personally be happy to see Easyhoon get some recognition for everything he does for his team.

They could do something like the original SKT skins. In the splash, there's five champs wearing the SKT attire and wayyyyyyyy in the background, Draven makes a cameo. Couple of patches later, Primetime Draven came out.

If they win, they could give five new champs an updated SKT outfit and one additional champ get their own honorary skin to honor the sixth member.

The last 2 season championship skins were chosen by the players (all but Faker, which Riot do for Zed instead of Ahri). So we expect that this season as well the players are the ones that choose which champs get their commemorative skin.
