Ok...so obviously Mystic's a one trick Kog...obv you're having trouble with Janna...and then, there's Galio...

You didn't ban any of them
You didn't TAKE any of them
You banned Xayah? 3a. Mystic doesn't even OWN xayah as a champ.

You're my favorite team. I always root for you. But what was that?!

Now that the tilted/ragey is gone...you guys played extremely well. These certainly overshadow the horrible drafting -- even if it wasn't enough to make up for it, it's still a huge thing to be proud of!

Bring it home next year, :)

If they had picked galio + sej first they might have won. Just got to stagger the ults so janna couldn't mitigate both of them at once.

C9 was planning to draft a Shen-Caitlyn early game team from the start, that's why they want to ban strong early laning ADC like xayah. The mistake they made was letting Galio comes through that makes this team comp entirely useless.

The biggest thing here is that...why not at least take the obvious Galio away? WE got Janna as FP...they could've taken Galio right then and there. They didn't need to take support or adc because it was obvious what WE was going to take anyway.

My biggest problem with C9 is they will throw games in draft and refuse to learn the lesson. They knew from the edg loss that galio is not a champ you can let the chinese have. They let the chinese have him. They knew janna was OP that patch and blue side always first picks her. They didn't ban her. They knew juggermaw comps where a thing a worlds, so they let WE build the perfect juggermaw comp.

Their goal for next season should be to get a clue of the meta and stop throwing games in champ select.

Why do people always focus on draft after NA loses? What does it matter what they banned/picked? Its about the way you play. WE played better. WE won. RNG played better RNG won. SKT played better SKT won, SSG played better SSG won. Its simple as that. Teams that played better are in semi finals. This is same bitching u see in solo que. "I didnt lose game because opponent played better but because my team inted,trolled,afked and other bullshit.

C9 didnt lose cause of draft. TSM didnt lose cause of draft. FNC didnt lose cause of draft. Noone lost cause of draft. THey all lost because opponent played better.

Say GRATS WE for good performance and move on.

Personally, I focused on the draft every game. It's so important...but then I watch the game, not like I'm going to stop watching to go post about the draft. Might as well watch the game.

False. Draft phase is at LEAST half of the game. If not more.

What is picked determines how you can play, idiot.

What does Gallio punish? Overextending and/or pushed in lanes. What does Caitlyn do? Push in waves. So not only did C9 allow a champion to go to the other team which makes their strategy nearly unworkable, they also chose not to pick that same champion which would have benefitted their Caitlyn strategy.

It was inexcusable. They lost game one because of execution, they misread Kog's damage too many times and it cost them the game, game five they had almost no chance at winning regardless of execution. They simply did not have the tools to win. I don't know why people act like blaming draft for a loss is some sort of excuse, no it isn't, Cloud 9 fucked up and got outplayed before the game even started, and WE didn't, so good on them.

Wrong. They are professional players. They are supposed to and can play anything viable. SKT and MSF shown yesterday that it doesnt matter. Only thing that matters is how good you play. Leona fervor. Blitzcrank in Ardent meta, Nashors tooth Orianna. Performance is 95% of the game. C9 got outplayed in game. Not before game started. WE just played better. It doesnt matter which champions they played.

Blaming draft is just pathetic excuse to avoid admitting that opponent was better.

When you make picks for one strategy, but then let through a pick you didn't need to that hard counters that strategy just by existing you lost that draft and made it very difficult for your team to win. Breaking the meta does not mean a bad draft. Those picks you referenced were made with a purpose and fit into their gameplan. You're just being intentionally obtuse to say draft only matters 5%.

Yes and have u considered that C9 also had their own plan? But because of WE great performance their plan didnt work?

Well i cant believe that every year people blame draft for some(NA) teams success at worlds.

I am troll because im taking C9 side? Why? They were expected to reach quarterfinal and stop there. And they did. They met expectations. They performed well for a team thats 3rd seed in NA and for team that came to worlds through play in stage. WE just played better and deserved semi final.

No. C9 played better the coach just let the kog one trick play kog. Then they gave over the 2 best champs to protect him. That's terrible drafting and you obviously have no clue how this game works. Sorry, Worlds isn't bronze where team comp doesn't matter.

Most regions say NA has a strong early. NA fails in late and can't roll an advantage.

Also yes, I don't watch LPL...that said, all the games I did watch that had Xayah in them, were huge losses where Xayah was of minimal contribution (not saying that she can't be)...also in all the WE games I watched, there was never a Xayah pick. Regardless...they were preferring one specific comp = Kog + Protect the Kog. Why not ban at least some aspect of that comp? WE at least correctly executed target banning game after game. "Oh we don't like Orianna" banned..."Oh we don't like Shen" banned "Oh hell no, we don't like Singed" banned.

Meanwhile C9 sitting there like..."Oh Janna/Kog screwed us over in 2 of 2 games so far, oh well let's let them take it again" no ban...not even a steal. :/

I agree with you there. I always shout to ban comfort.

Who the F cares if Kalista is broken. If the dude has played 5 Kog games, ban the Kog. And Kalista is a bad example but basically strong picks don't mean as much as comfort imo.

Mystic played more xayah games then any other adc during the regular season my thought is that they were trying to remove comfort and totally spaced on the massive comfort they were giving them.
