Client - Champ Select Visual and Crash

While during champ select in the last 2 games, I've experienced bugs. The first was a visual bug, randomly after 2nd pick, a giant block of green/tan (can't remember which color) appeared and I was unable to see chat or the 3-5th picks on either team (including myself).

The second game was even worse, I was working on some new masteries while waiting for players to finish picking champs and as it went to start, it crashed kicking me out and still continuing the game (I would've thought at the very least it would've counted as me dodging, but nope, started the game) and of course I start with ZERO masteries...

Suggestions besides just fixing it, maybe have it reset the the previous mastery set, because I'd even rather have AP masteries than nothing at all (I was talon). Or ensure that the game doesn't start or something...but playing a ranked game with no masteries because of client crash blows.

EDIT: Oh an...was in promos - there's no way I can somehow get my loss prevented and/or the people I played with is there? And MMR not affected?
