Just another darius circle jerk

I love how on leagues facebook all the EU fanboys are all blaming darius for being OP when this is the first time ball's darius has even had an impact on the game. The pick wasnt the problem, the problem was that Fnatic CHOSE to ignore darius to try to focus down sneaky and incarnation. Ignoring a front line is always risky even if its just tanks with low damage. But you CANT ignore a darius and just let him sit there killing your team without putting some form of cc on him. It was their own fault they where so detirmined to get sneaky and incarnation that they got tunnle vision. You ignore any champ that does good damage and youre going to die no matter if the champion is op or not. We can all complain about blah blah darius op in solo que- that may be true but in LCS OP champs is kind of the name of the game. You play to win. If theres any champion that gives you even 1% more chance to get all that money and a world title better believe hes gonna be picked or banned. Even with all these whiners the fact remains that even with all the picks/bans of darius in worlds this is still the only big play we have seen from one so far. Where are all the people crying over the fact that sneakys tristana is just wrecking turrets in those seiges? where are the complainers about the fact that a mid teir midlane (fenix) can get a 1v4 quadra on azir? does that make azir broken too? Boo hoo. Honestly i may be a C9 fan through and through but i DO like fnatic, origen, and UOL (uol most though) And i picked Fnatic as first in groups and C9 as second. In no way do i bash fnatic. But the crying over one champion being op in solo que having an effect on LCS is just redundant. If you cant figure out how to pick / ban / play around a solo que champ then maybe you shoulden't be on as high of a pedestal as you are placed. C9 was behind in gold a good portion of the game its true but what makes or breaks the best of teams is not how you play with a lead, but the mental fortitude to play with a deficit and keep up the mentality needed to find those picks and win. And if nothing else while they may not have as many wins this season as fnatic they definatly have that.

yeah they didnt respect the darius and it wasnt even darius that did most of the work he just cleaned up but the incarnation got the back line so low with the azir burst that allowed darius to start dunking fnc were straight ignorant that game and i hope they dont play like that again or else they dont have a chance

Darius gets a pentalkill in worlds, a couple days later, darius nerfs on PBE.

Riven and Yasuo continue to slide around the map killing everyone with little counterplay, immune to nerf. If darius was more mobile he probably would avoid the nerfs as mobile champions seem to get away with whatever ridiculous kits or unintended beneficial bugs they have.

50% of the game is outplaying your enemy the other 50% is outplaying yourself. Fnatic outplayed themselves hard, and to C9's credit, they made them pay for it. That's how competitions go. It's not just about what a team did right or wrong, it's about what the other team also did right or wrong. These things just aren't as black and white as people try to make it out at times.
