Thank you Riot: Community Tournaments

Before we start, I'm well aware there are some very strong negative opinions about this system, however I firmly believe that this is due to individual providers -- whether they're scamming and selling RP at a discounted price (though, Riot complains about that a lot more than players do) or failing to report event results to Riot so summoners don't receive rewards (this one is where the big problems come out!) -- and not a direct failing on Riots part.

Now, the point here is to remind Riot despite general negative community feedback being prevalent (so many millions of people who are more inclinded to share their negative than positive feedback) they do many things right; most specifically, the environment they have created to support E-sports and E-sports related businesses in which they provide 40,000 RP and 5 Triumphant Ryze skins per registered event (and there are easily 50 of these on each server on any given day -- what's that, 10,000,000 RP Riot hand out for free, every day?) is amazing.

A lot of people don't realize how EASY riot makes it for individuals to obtain prizing for their personal League of Legends Tournaments, for businesses to set up and host monthly, weekly, and/or daily online events, and for individual summoners and/or teams to grow towards a career in professional gaming.

Again, a huge shout out to Riot, and my recommendation that you go play some tournaments!

Sincerely, Darkorpse Owner/Ceo Not So Stock Gaming www.notsostock.ca

This is what a good company does, the support their player base.

Where did Riot complain about players not reporting? Was it a complaint or a concern? Do you speak directly to riot? I'm simply trying to understand your frustration.

It seems you have s new small organization (i say that respectfully speaking) and you too are trying to capitalize on the player base. Which you need to do if you want to grow into something large like VG or EVG (mine).

As Organizers we are allowed to charge a fee and fully monetize these tournaments. VG has done a fantastic job doing so, and I looked forward to using them as a example of success!

Cheers
