[Spoiler] @Any Rioter - RNG literally decided a teamfight in the IWC

Game 2 BKT vs CHF, 40 minute baron fight;

Sivir crits Tristana 3 times in a row with 40% crit chance. If those crits didn't occur or if Tristana had the same string of crits he would have cleaned up that fight easily.

And please, don't give me that bullshit about Tristana jumping into Sivir AA range, I'm strictly talking about the string of RNG that decided that teamfight.

I could understand 3 crits in a row with even as low as 66% crit chance but come on, this is just plain bullshit.

I'm not sure what you want to happen here. Should the RNG be less random? Do you think it already is? Do you think that, while .66^3 is a real number (.28), .4^3 is not? Because there was a 6.4% chance of that happening, and then it TOTALLY DID. Get over it.

Spoiler: Chiefs just weren't good enough to beat the GPL team in a Bo5 series and thus they won't go to the Worlds

Just deal with it

Your post just succeeded in describing how percent chance works. Congratulations, this is completely useless.

yea, it´s really sad to see RNG affecting the game more than playerchoices ("skill") ever so often. In the same series GP got a 1v1 kill on Diana with a 10% Crit / Tris got outduelled by Sivir because she managed to get 4 non-crits in a row with a PD+IE (55%crit) build.

Riot should really rethink their approach to "serious esports competition", right now there´s still a lot more luck involved than necessary. It really hurts the game and the competition.
