Player Face-cam needs to match where the Observer camera is
This is a request for esports productions to make an effort to have facecams focusing on players who are in the midst of the action. Or if someone is doing something worth noticing, switch cam to them, but if we're focusing on junglers about to go for a contested baron smite, let's see their facecam. Did someone just outplay someone else and get a stylish kill? Let's see their faces, so we can get that human emotion of the winner/loser.
I noticed it during the most recent "Penta" where they'd show these amazing plays happening, but the facecams would be on some other player completely removed from the incredible play. Did someone just get a a crazy kill/escape in bot lane? Well too bad, here's the top laner's face who is completely stoic while they focus on farming.
I posted a link to illustrate my point of something I'll always fondly remember when thinking about LoL esports. TSM vs LMQ, game 5. LMQ was there from China to cash in on a weak NA league, but TSM (the original fan favourites) were there to stand up and defend the NA LCS -- at least, that's how the narrative felt, and here we were in a game 5, where everyone largely expected LMQ to take the win and the top prize. This display of emotion from Dyrus is something that made the solo kill that much sweeter. To production's credit, they also caught a bunch of audience shots which just added to the hype.
Overall, I wish there was more emphasis on focusing on players who just did something great, or even those who completely botched something. Yes, watching high level league is fine, but by focusing on the players you're currently looking at would make it more entertaining.
