Title. It is unfun to watch, pro play has just become 20 minutes of afk farming with maybe 1 dive because of the paper towers this season. Every game is just lane swap, and whoever has the better matchup with the usual 20 champs that are the only ones every played with barely any exceptions. Whichever team has the better matchup usually gets a decent enough lead to snowball team fights. Please do something to change the lane swap meta.
Yeah, I agree with one thing. Paper towers... This season they are so god damn weak. I have even dived at level 3, so have professionals. Towers don't do shit besides clear waves and stand as an objective that can be easily taken with no strategy involved.
Paper towers, massive death timers, shitty Rift Herald, shitty gold bounties for ending sprees, dragon being worth nothing really in early game are the problem.
Lane swaps are a nice strategic tool.
Problem is, if we had standard lanes, Everyone will just be everyone picking the OP's of the lane and kicking the opponents behind over and over again. People will lose turrets easier, then people are going to attempt lane swapping or split pushing. There is no reliable solution to this, and this isn't the typical solo queue match where everyone will just stay in lane and farm for roughly 10-20 minutes then group up for an ARAM.
