Why do you have to have the worst team name that has no creativity other than forcing your sponsor down everyone throat. Can you imagine if the States did that.

Team Verizon Red Team At&t Blue Team T-Mobile Green

...how about

Team Dominos White Team Dominos Blue

or Team Mcdonalds Yellow

shit don't forget about

Team Coca-Cola Red

If I wanted to watch a bad phone commercial id spam some Anime on Hulu, I came to watch worlds and see some of the best teams in the world... and i fear wat the gawdy skins are going to look like once someone wins with those terrible team names etc...

Apaling.

Get it together, make a team name/ colors and icon actually something creative.

Be grateful that teams are being given millions of dollars, just so they can get better at playing video games. Considering how massively impactful those sponsorships have been on the face of esports, solicitous names seems like a petty thing to be complaining about.

Do you think any North American team would turn down a sponsorship from Google if it meant changing their oh-so-creative team name?

Wait wait wait... Why should I be grateful of other people getting paid a lot of money? It's a shitty name... That is the point here and it's true. What does someone else getting paid money have to do with us?

Those teams have their names as 'payment' for the sponsorship those companies are giving them. They're a symptom of a system whereby millions of dollars are fed into the esports industry. Complaining about the names without adequate appreciation of why they're how they are and how that state of affairs might benefit you seems petty.

It's fine if you like it. I have no problems with it myself. However it is completely unoriginal and the lack of effort in it really takes away from it. That, and it really feels like Samsung is shoving their brand down my throat every time the commentators actually say "Samsung White." It's like, "Just say 'White!'"

On a semi-related not (to Samsung), I can tell you as a technician... Samsung makes some really shitty products. Like, I constantly have people coming into the shop for me to repair their shoddy ass junk.
