Wards make League boring

When watching LCS games, the amount of time they spend placing/clearing wards is kind of absurd. Well, maybe not absurd, but certainly very boring. It's usually not important enough of an objective for a real fight to break out, so there's these little one or two aa skirmishes. Then someone sweeps. Then places a ward and runs away. Then the other team sweeps blah blah blah. Boring.

I propose that games, at least LCS games, would be infinitely more interesting and much more volatile if there were no wards. Maybe objectives in each quadrant of the jungle that you can fight over for a minute or two of vision of that entire quadrant. Maybe just no wards period. Wouldn't that be much more exciting to watch? Think about how much fun it is to watch when an entire team hides in a bush and you see someone getting closer and closer about to face check, maybe not and you hold your breath a little bit and then BAM. Or they pull off some crazy dodge and escape imminent death. That would happen way more. Anyway, I'm sort of just rambling at this point but

TL;DR - Wards make LCS games boring. Get rid of wards plz

If you thought placing wards was boring, you haven't seen 8 people farming under tower while junglers stay in their jungle. That is LCS without wards

Wards are Game changing, and they provide alot of pressure without the enemy even knowing it sometimes. You know their location and can make a path and plan on how to get them alone.

Wards are one of my favorite items other than Zzrots.

This is a strategy game, not Call of Duty. :/

Be glad there's a ward cap for every player.

Game changing in a bad way. It's like, since you've provided CoD as a comparison, if radar was always on. Shit is boring as fuck. at least half of every game is spent on lame/boring interactions where everyone clears/places wards. if there were no wards, games would be much more dynamic. there could actually be ambushes. you would be forced to gamble and over extend sometimes to secure objectives. and it would be more interesting to watch that happen, than what happens currently. instead of dynamic play, where either team could win, one team builds a huge lead and slowly chokes out the other team, giving them almost no opportunity to come back. almost every game is won by whichever team gets 2k gold lead in the beginning. it's fucking boring. there's no comeback potential unless the team that's winning makes a huge mistake. without wards, it would be much more interesting, there would be much more comeback potential.

Never would happen. The CC lock down would be to strong.

The term fantic brush already exists and happens with wards.
