TL vs C9 2019 Finals Game 5-- Corejj's Rakan Ult Catching Sneaky from ~200 Map Units Away?

I play a lot of Rakan and ever since his mechanic changes made it so you cant cast W or flash for 0.5 seconds after Ult. In game 5 of TL vs C9 in the 2019 playoff finals at 21:40 Core jj seems to flash-into-ult, and catches sneaky from about 200 map units away. I think even Sneaky was caught off guard because he had xayah ult AND flash. Sneaky is a good enough player to know the hitbox of Rakan's ult, which is relatively narrow and centered around Rakan's body, which is why he probably held off on his ult/flash because corejj was so far away. Was I the only one who spotted this? If you play the clip at 0.25x speed it is glaringly obvious.

That looks more like a really disgusting animation cancel. Rakan pressed Ult and flash around the same time, and for some reason you cant exactly see where he actually flashed. Judging by the actual flash animation (those gold sparks) it looks like he flashed in place, but my theory is that he flashed on top of Xayah, but the ult animation cancelled his flash animation. Its probably hard to pull off, and I wouldnt call it unfair, but its still the abuse of an unintented mechanic, so it definitely should be fixed.

I don't see the issue. He was way out of position and Rakan was right on top of him.

Probably just a spectator bug.

While I don't think this was game-costing or anything like that, there is definitely a bug of some kind here. If CoreJJ did know about the bug and utilized it to an advantage, that is directly against the RIOT rules for pro play champ selection. I can't remember the exact article or section number, but it says something along the lines of "A player can not pick a champ and knowingly execute a glitch or bug with said champ" or something like that.

If that's the case, and I'm assuming it is because the timing was impeccable to make the animation cancelation work, then TL should have been disqualified for exploiting the bug. Rules are rules... but then again... this is the team with the richest owner in the NALCS we're talking about...

All I'm saying is that Rakan's Ult hitbox is so narrow that you have to essentially be on top of the enemy champion to land the charm. But in that instance you see that Corejj kind of just flashed in place and landed the charm on sneaky a considerable distance away, so that's what I mean when it looks like sneaky got caught off guard..

As someone who has played with a lot of Rakans, including longtime mains, I know that is definitely not the hitbox. W hadn't gone off yet, so it's not like Sneaky was hit with the charm during the dash. Good eye though.

"and catches sneaky from about 200 map units away" ? What are you talking about?

Excuses Excuses. Sneaky got owned. There was absolutely nothing fishy going on. Get over it.

If it was something fishy, Sneaky would have paused. But there wasn't.
