EDG in 2017

Edward Gaming lost two players after the Demacia cup in 2016. They lost Pawn and Deft. Pawn wasn’t playing as much in EDG because of his back injury and the team supposedly wanted to play with Scout, their sub mid laner more. The other player leaving the team was Deft. Deft’s replacement is Zet. Zet was the mid laner for the Rox Tigers under the name Cry. Swapping from the mid to AD is a very difficult task. Zet has only played one game on an AD champion professionally and that champion was Varus. Varus is an AD champion but is played in the mid lane most of the time. Zet is going to be facing a lot of pressure replacing Deft one of the best AD carries in the world. Luckily EDG has been prepared to bring on another coach, they brought to the team NoFe. NoFe was the coach of Rox Tigers so he has experience working with Zet. NoFe also has a substantial amount of working with top teams such as NaJin White Shield in season 4 before moving to the Rox Tigers in season 5 and 6. Moving forward the team still has its other players from season 6 including Koro1, Clearlove, Scout, and Meiko and their subs Mouse and Fireloli. Edward Gaming will be playing against Vici Gaming January 20th and we can see how Zet will mesh with the team and his first professional game as AD carry.
