LCS events in isolated countries

Hey riot, I believe an official league of legends event should be held in New Zealand to expand the world summoners rift.

My name is Mumen Rider and I'm from Christchurch New Zealand. League championship events are an attraction to all league players, they band the community together and entertain players from around the world. Back in the day the regions that entered LCS events were from the majority countries where it's easy to set up events but that restricted many countries and players from being found and being able to join the LCS scene.

Turkey and Brazil are still relatively new regions to the LCS scene but their debuts, while tenacious, ended in failure. But the constant exposure the regions had increase the skill capacity and since debuting those regions have thrived and improved greatly.

I believe that this is necessary to the birth and improvement of regions for a much diverse league scene, to have exposure to events such as these where the best can participate and learn from other regions in a practical way.

Oceania is such a region. Following the defeat at MSI I thought why does my region have such little exposure and relevance in the world of LCS. I came to the conclusion of lack of exposure, lack of participation and lack of support from riot games to regions that appear on the seldom note in LCS events.

I have an idea to start off a landslide in improvement of my region, advertisement of riot games to smaller regions and hope for other smaller regions that need the help from Riot games and the Pro-scene.

It's been almost 7 years since the earthquake that destroyed my city hit and the restoration of our city has been slow but our new convention centre and town hall has been announced to be fully built by 2019-2020. As someone who loves his city and region, I would like to propose an official, Riot held LCS event following the newly constructed town hall and convention centre. I believe this would put money into the city for further restoration. This would have a very postitve effect for Riot as if this becomes a recurring event it could be held in other low exposure countries as a motif for the improvement of regions and exposure of Riot games to the world.

My last point is that it would greatly help players in my server improve and aspire to be apart of LCS not just our pro-players but our solo queue community also. This event could be very successful and play a vital role in improvement of regions.

Personally I would really love for this event to become a reality, for not only the growth of my city and region but I believe it would be beneficial to Riot games also. I know the correct people to talk to in the city to ensure the event could become a posibility as I personally know the City Councillour who is the person who oversees and controls what happens within the inner city as it is also his juristriction. He also knows the mayor personally and could further increase the chances of this event becoming a reality.
