Curious about what sound is heard live at Worlds?
Are the casters heard throughout the arena? Can the crowd hear the play by plays? If so, the players headphones must be 100% sound proof? How does this all work?

I think the players can hear the casters during the pre-game but not during game. I could be wrong though.
You'd be surprised at how soundproof headphones can get.
I demo'd some sound-cancelling headphones in the middle of a _very _ busy Costco. It was uncanny how quiet everything was. I couldn't hear shit, even my friend talking loudly right beside me.
Well if you have searched up at MSI or Finals for NA, they can hear the casters being muffled but they cant really make out words, however you can hear, HUHI DOING AN AMAZING PLAY, but you cant hear. Oh look Reignover is sneaking up jungle, probably because of their focus and the casters are more quiet. As for the finals, CLG even said to their coach, they cant hear him because the croud is so loud and has THAT much energy. This video by Riot perfectly shows it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zk0t6v9X2Y You can hear the crowd and maybe a taste of what the casters are saying but its pretty hard to tell.
