When is Riot going to do something about people in the crowd giving hand signals to the players?

It's not just randoms. These are people that are placed.

more like downvotes from people who know how stupid this is. First off there is a delay, it may not be long but in game that delay could mean getting an Ace or getting Aced, so to take advice from someone in the crowd is really risky for what at stake here. Second, they can't even really see the crowd, with their screen and camera in their face it would be very hard to get any reliable information from the crowd. Third and lastly, a pro is not going to look away from the screen... as i mentioned earlier a single second is a long time in this game so looking away at most stages of the game is dangerous. Specially since they would need to make a huge effort to actually look at the crowd, as i mentioned in my second point.

5 second delay isn't a lot. It's enough to signal which side of the jungle the jungler is moving to after basing.
