Professional Esport... Scripted like WWE?

So... I'm wondering if there is any validity too this

Professional League of Legends play is all SCRIPTED!

I don't mean computer scripts as in the players are cheating, I means Riot Games has determined who the "good" and "bad" public figures are and which teams will play at what levels (who will win, how much they'll win by, if it will be a come back victory, etc) in order to manipulate summoners into viewing their large scale tournaments.

I recently requested that I be provided information on how to become a Riot Tournament provider with access to the Tournament Realm (their LAN client for official Riot Event) [to clarify, this is much different than being a community event provider which is very easy to do].

Chopper from Riot Games stated this directly in response to one of my partners support tickets:

"LCS teams are limited to playing in the LCS and the official Riot international tournaments (e.g., Worlds, MSI, etc) for several reasons, one of which being the insurance of a coherent and consistent storyline regarding both their play and the global eco-system for esports."

It means they don't want to confuse their viewers by having league teams play outside the league and stream games that players might think matter when they don't. On top of that they want their viewers to follow the league like a story line of how players perform etc. which off tournaments would detract from.

Not only is it understandable but it makes a lot of sense to keep all events sanctioned.

It is not,

Now some scandals might happen like teams throwing.

But it is not scripted.

Back in season two Curse and Dig were stripped of their tournament winnings because of collusion and deciding who would win the games before they happened.

I don't think it's scripted. If it was scripted, TDK would be in the playoffs. Also, I don't understand your question and how it relates to Riot's answer. Did you ask "Can I use the LAN client used in LCS?" and they answered "LCS teams can only play in Riot events."? I looked through the LCS ruleset, and I didn't even see this rule. Cloud9, TSM, Alliance (now Elements), Fnatic, UOL, and Gambit (and more I think) all competed at IEM tournaments last year as well. I am extremely confused by this entire post.
