Videos in the ESPORTS/VODS section

I'd like to preface this with a comment about how much I enjoy watching professional League play. It is easily one of the highlights of my day when I get to sit down and enjoy watching some of the amazing play put forth by all the ESPORTS personnel, and getting to enjoy that play even if i was unable to watch the live stream.

Not getting to watch the live stream and still getting to watch the videos is really useful, as it allows me to take care of errands or other life events that crop up during the weekend, or whenever the particular broadcast I want to watch is playing.

However the area that you all have the VODs posted is super aggravating in one small feature. The layout of the website and videos is spot on easy to understand. The breakdown of which LCS group to watch, and the further breakdown of the relevant week for that gameplay is really nice for how neat and organized it is, but the video player itself is terrible.

I use multiple screens to watch these things, so that I can enjoy a game of league while watching the vids, or so i can just peruse other wonders of the internet (cat videos, etc), but the fact that I have to done the EOD suit and make sure I click no where else but on the video when i want to make the window that has the videos come to the front is infuriating.

Many a time i have clicked over to the window showing the videos and had the video i was watching close down. Resulting in me playing "what vid was i watching, and where was i at?". It is not a fun game to play.

As such, it would be really nice if there was some way to alleviate that issue. Maybe by opening up another build in subsection that becomes active when someone clicks the match series that they want to watch and the specific game they want. Or maybe it opens up a new tab that links to the League of Legends youtube page. Something that makes it so I dont have to be super cautious about where I have my mouse when I want the video window to come to the front would be so helpful.

Thanks for reading all this, if you got this far.

TLDR; I'd like some way for vids to not close down if you misclick on the VODs screen while watching a video.

you could just go to the LOL Esports youtube channel and watch the vods there
