Welp, CLG did us proud at MSI, but now...

It's time to start eyeing Worlds. While CLG was screwing off with their international social gathering and sharing coffee with the enemy barbarians, the rest of NA was hard at work making super soldiers. The day of judgment is coming!

Who's your team for the Summer split and to win it all?

<- C9 here

To be honest, before MSI, I definitely thought NA was a decent region, aside from last year. This year, I can confidently say that the teams that were ranked 1 - 7 in the Spring Split I would feel comfortable putting on the worlds stage, at least skill wise. By playoffs, I would love to see any combination of CLG, TL, C9, NRG, or IMT go to MSI. I wouldn't enjoy TSM going. They've had their share of international "stardom" (IE 2015 MSI, Worst NA team at worlds, 0-10 in NA). That and I prefer to side with CLG, but w/ever. I've had a feeling that NA grew as a region in the offseason and by MSI it had been confirmed. NA has arrived. I can confidently say that at least 1 NA team will make it past the Semi-finals. Its hard to say who would win the Summer Split, but my money would be on either CLG, TL, or IMT. Reasons? CLG: MSI? Previous Split Winners?; IMT: Regular season domination, and surprising playstyle changes by Huni and Reignover; TL: Had a very strong season with 3 rookie players and almost made it to the finals *Tips hat off to double TP play by Darshan and Huhi Game 5.

Personally I'm rooting for TL tho ;) Only time will tell what will happen

Can't wait for the summer split to begin, every team looks stacked with talent Quas returns which I'm picking to be # 10 of the MVP race not to mention HOPEFULLY we can see #7 Froggen play for a full split this time.
C9 will be fun to watch but 7th place for them this split. 8-10 record

This past weekend is the most LCS I have ever watched. Played the game for years but never really been into the LCS until now. Not really sure what to think regarding NA LCS teams as I have not watched them play besides at worlds or MSI. I am pulling for TSM & CLG but we shall see.

How are IMM not in this discussion? They lost TWO games this split, and dominated at every other point. I definitely think it was a fluke they lost to CLG, but CLG played extremely well and clutch at the finals for the end of the split. IMM will win this next split.

The only NALCS team that I have an icon for! No wait, the only one I have an icon for who is still playing. CLG!

I really want C9 to do well this split!

My new underdog favorite is Echo Fox, though. After watching All-Stars this past year I really want to see Froggen succeed. A bunch of their games were long and exciting to watch and you could tell they were giving their everything after their visa issues were resolved mid-split.

It will be interesting to see how the mid lane changes (Sol, Taliyah, MYMU, mage itemization) and the neutral monster changes (herald, dragon, buff timers, etc.) will affect teams' strengths and weaknesses.

The roster changes make it feel like a whole new split too. We have Meteos, Impact, and Bunny starting on C9. Dardoch may be suspended from TL and transferred. Biofrost replaced YellowStar on TSM. NRG replaced everyone but GBM. Apex, nV, and Phoenix1 are new rosters to the LCS. There are just so many variables that are different from last split.

The EU LCS rosters will be pretty different too (if anyone is interested here). G2 grabbed Zven and Mithy. H2K grabbed Freeze from Renegades. Forgiven is on Origen with Hybrid. Giants is almost a completely new roster. Yellowstar is back on Fnatic. Roccat signed Steelback. Schalke is a new team who signed Fox. UoL has an updated roster.

I AM PUMPED

CLG gonna #MakeNAGreatAgain baby! But I'll be pleased to see Liquid and Immortals do well, too, and maybe C9. I was at the Las Vegas Finals and my heart broke for Piglet when they lost to my boys. I want to see Piglet happy, dammit!
