We're quick to rally behind NA underdogs but then crap all over international underdogs? They are obviously capable or they wouldn't have made it this far in the first place. I got news for you too, averages do not matter in isolated matches. Upsets happen in sports all the time because there's no such thing as a perfect player that will be 100%, 100% of the time. There's nothing wrong with speculating based off past performance, but when the game turns out differently it probably is because the lesser of the two teams just played better.

Not a fanboi for either team, but they deserve more respect IMO.

Pain is a better team than CLG, and Pain won. The upset came when CLG beat them in the first week.

I dont think anyone needs to defend FW. They managed to get first place. They beated KOO twice!

And while Pain did not managed to get top 2, they are definitely better than your average IWC. They almost managed to get 2 wins against the 1st of the group and had better fights against FW than CLG. Unhappily their mid game being so weak costed them too much vs. KOO. But props to them too.

I had CLG as last in the group. But now that I see pain gaming play I never put them second now. They are skilled but stagy wise or shotcalling not so good.

As for FW they made first but why would I expect that. I think Koo play better.
